I call upon all of you to look inside yourselves honestly and identify something, anything you can do differently to get Carlton over the line tonight. Try a different pair of socks, or sitting in a different chair, anything, because whatever we've been doing hasn't been working to date.

Last weekend I switched couches at three quarter time, and improve we did in the last quarter, but I am just one man and can't be entirely up to me any more. Once, when I was younger and stronger, I could have greater impact, but now I am old, and tired, and need everyone to pull their weight.

Come on!!

Are you talking about Malthouse?

Take a look at how Geelong attacked last night.
Through the corridor.

BBW you're being a bit harsh on MM. He made finals every year he was at west coast, albeit with a great team. He them took over an absolute rabble and wooden spooners, and made it to a grand final in his 3rd year. In total from 12 years at the pies, he may have only got 1 flag but you're competing against 15 other teams, they're not easy to win. Look at the stats, in 12 seasons he made

4 grand finals. 1/3
6 prelims. 1/2
8 finals campaigns. 2/3

It's an impressive record, coming from the bottom of the ladder

yeah hes a bit like the man with no legs laughing at the man with the limp.....

its funny....

Hmmm .. I was comparing Ratten to Malthouse at the same time in his career ... There really was no comparison ... Malthouse was hopeless. Now after 30 years he has won 3 premierships ... He has an incredible stone age game plan that most clubs have worked out ... and we don't have a big forward to get us out of trouble like Collingwood did ... Synbad have you actually seen the way we set up at stoppages in defense .... have you seen the way we Bomb the ball forward .... its just crap ... and either the coach is telling the players the wrong thing or they are just not listening ... either way ... its a FAIL.

But eh ... I guess you are prepared to put up with the ten year MM plan ... after all we have seen it at 2 clubs he has coached.

I just hope the players show something this week ... Maybe if Mick came out and just said 'I have 1 game plan and its not working ... I might try something a bit innovative' ... then maybe we might have a chance for the rest of the year. Our great hope is the influence of Robert Wiley. Otherwise I will see you in 2023 ... we can all have a laugh then.

Come on Blues ... Just do something ... anything!

You what?
Compared Ratten to Malt house at the same time in their careers and what?
Ratten was a sacked coach to never be an AFL senior coach ever again and MM is still coaching 25 years on and hews three flags under his belt and a viable coach?

But I don't get the point you're attempting to make strangely enough.

Over here. We may have to do shifts to work out the best position for everyone, after we've eaten our roast lamb.

Post of the year! My wife already knows that her movements affect our results. If she's in the room and we're winning, she can't leave etc..
I will try something different tonight, Verbs. Hopefully, the boys do so as we'll (my suggestion for them: win)

 No doubt about it.

I have found its not the couch you sit on its whether and when you leave the room.

If the opposition is getting a run on the only way to stop it is for me to immediately leave the room and come back in 10 mins. Invariably we will kick a goal as soon as I leave.

Screaming at the TV during interstate games doesn't tend to help, although I refuse to give up on this strategy

Like you verbs my power is not what it was.

Very funny.

My tip is mark Lecras will tear us apart. I've made him my SuperCoach captain. A not so risky choice as I'm versing a team minus 4 plAyers in the field
