Gore Hill Oval is right next to St Leonards station on the North Shore line.

Mark, yes, if you could please make the first overtures towards RWO, that would be great.

As it gets closer to the date, we will have to find out where everyone will be (living, staying etc) and find a location nice and central.

I'm sure the RWO guys will know some good grounds.

The Swans/Carlton match is at the SCG.

Ive already told you about the best oval in Sydney (I was serious it is a superb ground to play and watch games) even if it is out west.

KK post is now up on the local footy board and will see how that goes.

Hey guys, are these footy grounds easy for us Melb people to get to?

As we all will be flying up and nobody will be driving due to the huge amount of turps we are all intending to drink.

I'll throw my hand up to do some driving back and forth from the airport

If you can all pick a ground early on then us Melbourner's can book our accomdation near/between the SCG & the ground the game will be at. (Please don't make me travel far, I HATE Sydney!).

If that's the case something closeby to the SCG might be appropriate...

There's been lukewarm interest from the Swannies guys - maybe some of us need to trash talk 'em a bit? :)

They don't know how to trash talk do they? I tried to rev them up at the SCG one year & they gave me nothing!

Or a bit of self-satisfaction and complacency.

You'd hope so. They're kinda like Melbourne supporters in a way. They are too concerned with their chardonnay, land rovers and trips to the snow to give a shit.

We're married Jars. You oughta know that means little to no 'involvement'.

Gore Hill Oval is also right in front of Royal North Shore hospital so any of the Swans fans who meet a decent hip & shoulder can be attended to quite quickly. :-D

Gore Hill is a dump, thats why the hospital is in close proximity.

Interest is picking up on RWO.
