Watts is an unknown.
Polak is a headcase.

well if you are going to get technical then Lance is not even a KPP.

All 4 players have there negatives. Lance well and truly included.

There is no Tredrea, Pavlich available. We all know that. Ottens, Thompson last year and a couple this year. 2 are out of contract in Watts and Lance. The other 2 might be on the move.

I would take pick 12 if that was the only deal on the table for Lance.
Would prefer 12 + 28 or 12 + Ferguson/Jamar.

Pick 12 + Ferguson would be good.
Can't see them getting rid of Jamar as that would leave them with only White and Johnson as their ruckmen. If White happened to go down, Johnson isn't exactly an adequate replacement.
He's more of a forward anyway.

In my opinion pick 12 and Jamar plus another pick would be fine...(28)
We can give 28 to Adelaide for Watts.. not that i really rate him but for pick 28 he would be ok....
Use 12 on a guy who might slip to 12 in the draft a.. and were miles ahead.
We have another ruckman and another pick in the top dozen PLUS another tall who is ready to play....

Plus we get rid of another money hungry player....

Saints have been rumoured to have offered pick 17 to Adelaide for Watts and they want more than that. After Fergus came out and said trade me to the Saints or I walk it could get interesting.

I dont know what is seen in Watts myself. Pick 17 is around the mark.
The Dogs might look at pick 11 to get him I suppose but I dont think so.

Well if G Train retires and with Hamill and Kosi carring sicknotes.. they need Watts.
Adelaide would be better off dealing with us for Melbournes second round pick than strengthening up StKilda....

I think I heard on SEN this morning that the Saints were going to offer up Fiora for Watts.

Pick 12, 28 and Jamar > Carlton
Whitnall > Dees

Surely we would have to throw in Pick 52 or Pick 36?

Plus if we trade Lappin to somewhere, say Richmond, we could get their Pick 24.

Well it sounds like Fergus wants to go where his daddy is.

Adelaide would be smart to trade him to a club who are going to be a flag contender. A bit of a problem with Watts might be that after signing him for 2 years he might well leave to go to the Saints anyway after that.

Barry Hall didnt carry those injuries ALL season.

Why do people compare oranges with apples????

What im saying is ... Lance is a potato....!!!!

What im saying is he has been ripping us off... he cant make a mark in the forward line when Fev is getting all the heat...
He wants too much money.. at a time where every other player chooses to sign for their club.. Lance AGAIN chooses the old Carlton form of holding the club to ransom... because he is a greedy pig.. and comes from a genre of Carlton players that this club does NOT NEED... and the fact that were even entertaining the fat greedy pig really irks me...

It also tells me this club is gutless!!!!... and Lance has all the guts...

PISS THE PIG OFF!!!... (and his mates).. and start again!!!

We dont need them!!!

Theyre not worth it!!!!!

Find a backbone!!!!!!!

Synbad, seeing that most Carlton people want to trade Whitnall we should be talking up his good points at this time of the year. What if Cameron whatshis name (the melbourne recruitment guy) came on this site. He wants to see us praising Whitnall.

How about - he can read the play very well....
he is better than Holland... he will kick more goals than Holland.

That could work out really well for us...We get a back-up ruckman as well as a 1st and 2nd rounder, plus another for Skinny leaving us with 6 picks in the draft that we should use...

We would have: 1, 4, 12, 20, 24, 28

That's a lot of young talent to put onto a list at one time...I'M EXCITED!!! :-D :-D

Highly doubt Melbourne would trade Jamar, with White getting into his late twenties and Paul Johnson unlikely to ever hold down the #1 ruck role

Adelaide's prepared to take a stance on Watts - Crows not happy he's come out and told them where he wants to go. They're talking with St Kilda but claim they're prepared to do a Nick Stevens and let him go for nothing if the Saints don't play ball. They want a first-rounder. And who'd be waiting in the PSD - which gets thinner by the day ...

Alas, I reckon Lance might stay. Nothing concrete yet but it's more likely he'll keep sucking us dry.

They might not be dumb enough, but Neale Daniher is desperate enough. There is absolutely no doubt that next year will be his 9th and final unless he makes a Prelim at least.

He will trade recklessly this year to save his job thats for sure. They are angling for Whitnall, Motlop and basiaclly anyone. We should target them as a potential Houlihan suitor .

I'll be pretty angry if we keep him.

You've never been wrong yet kenny so I hope this is the one. I hope he has bowed down to our demands for once. Does this mean that Fevola is gone as well. I doubt it but you have to think it might be. Our forward line is shit without him.
