I saw him play his first game. Kicked 3 from memory but didn't get a lot of media coverage because another first gamer in the other side kicked 4 his name Peter Hudson. Carlton won BTW.
Re the '87 premiership team, my mail from that time said Wes Lofts approached Wallsy after the game and said ''That's the least talented Carlton premiership side ever, congratulations well done''.
