A lot of turnovers from those 42 touches according to people who watched.

32 kicks, even at 80% There's 6 or so bad/ineffective ones

Carlton are the new Fitzroy. We have been beaten up so much in the last 20 years every team thinks they are a chance no matter what the score.
And we are nervous Nellies just like Fitzroy. Until we start obliterating sides we are always in danger.

If we're the South Australian Fitzroy I don't mind

Look….

i know this may sound a bit silly…but would
it kill us to run Owies through there for a
few minutes a 1/4…even if it’s only just after a goal…!

he played basketball of course…and I’m not
sure if you know…so did Pendlebury…!

Owies does have some tenacious dog about
him…which i believe is needed in the centre bounce…!

kindest regards tommi

We’ll need someone faster than Hewett or Kennedy to sit on Gulden. I suspect Cottrell is the only one who could run with him. I also suspect Luke Parker will come back into the team and with a point to prove. Hewett or Kennedy should sit on him too - can’t let him get going on our watch.
Newman for Henney? Or maybe Cincotta, after his performance against Kosi?

I just have a feeling that Cincotta is up for most "fix it" roles. Has amazing concentration and application

In future, I'd play him as a Mr Fix it player, eg on a dangerous small forward like Pickett, as a defensive HF on the oppositions dangerous attacking defender, even on a Tom Stewart type, AND as a close checking midfield tagger. Reckon he would've relished the role on Daicos

His desire to compete, to play at AFL level and to go to war with teammates outweighs any skill deficiencies he may have

Hopefully in Cincotta, we found our shutdown small defender. Been looking for while……

Do we need Pittonet against the Swans?

Out
Pittonet
Cerra (inj)
Cowan

In
Hewett
Williams
Cunningham (sub)

Replacing Cerra with Hewett makes our midfield slower however this would be partially offset by having DeKoning do the ruck duties. Cowan has been serviceable and I doubt he will be dropped, however I would prefer the run and carry provided by Williams. Durdin remains in the side until Motlop is ready.

Not Zac's fault, but, he's 1/5th of the player on 5x the wage of Cincotta at the moment.

To suggest we drop Pitto is insanity.

I notice that Luke Parker isn't on the Swans injury list yet didn't play against Freo.
Anyone know about his current situation - is he returning from injury in the reserves?
