I'm with you.
Trade Cripps, Fisher our 1st this year and 2nd next year to West Coast for pick 1 (Harley Ried)

Make Walsh captain

Have said it before but if Ed is playing, he plays from the start. If not, he is out playing VFL.

Having a player whose only strength is his ability to run others off their feet as a sub makes zero sense.

Next will be interesting
Voss will want to keep trying to speed it up
But Pies are a quick team
So maybe it's best to revert to the slow keepings off game plan
Keep confusing the players more so they keep making mistakes and looking confused out there

Seriously not sure why we wouldn’t play Dow as the sub he adds a bit of spark

Said exactly the same thing to mates...apparently we're playing well enough to say, "thanks but no thanks paddy"

We deserved to lose by 6 goals. Very lucky in the first half dogs missed some absolute sodas.

Absolutely pathetic Q1, just zero intensity in a massive game.

Bunch of losers

Yep. Couldn't agree more.

I made the decision to stay home tonight, hate Marvel and wondered if I'd find our kicking less annoying if I only got the TV tight shots.

Probably not.

We are a team devoid of confidence and I believe our players have no faith, no knowledge or no ability to execute our game style, or even articulate what it is.

Our ball movement is woeful. Our kicking is below school level, and our decision making is so clouded it kills us.

Honestly, I could handle losing with a shit list

This is not a shit list
Spot on.

With a shit list you kinda expect everything your have outlined.

In the scheme of things, tonight doesn’t really matter

It’s been pretty obvious for a while that we are a middling team at best with little upside

Unfortunately we need to make some tough decisions at seasons end and reset

This list ain’t taking us nowhere.

The coaching performance doesn’t look great either.

Club is so ordinary.

Think i just face palmed. Seriously! Talk about talking with your frustrations and not your brain. We eat our own fast in our club. Bet you didn't say that last year. You were celebrating his Brownlow like the rest of us.

Worse than Whitnall and Murphy?

This wasn't a choke. That happens when you play catch up football, we've been on both ends of it so many times.

When you give up a six goal lead and expend all that energy to get back into it and hit the lead, it's very very difficult to keep it going.

That first half was a disaster and I'm starting to be alarmed now. I wasnt last week as I rate the lions. I don't rate the dogs.

Mind you this team of spastics will probably come out and beat the pies next week. Lol.

YES. worse than Whitnall and Murphy

Unfortunately we just arnt good enough.
We might sneak in the 8 as the clubs below us are struggling too, but just making up the numbers….
I wonder where it’s all gone wrong we are a shadow of a team. Maybe it’s a simple as clubs have figured us out.

I hate to say it but maybe those last 2 games last year effing destroyed us.

The 3 ins were good. That was a positive. Liked Owies' game.

Players are devoid of confidence and their want to believe and persist is about shot

Warning signs were last week

Could see it in the body language

This all stems from a lack of belief in the direction and game plan

It's all falling apart

I could see this week's ago
Writing was on the wall
We won games playing average footy

And now we've been exposed

We are not improving one bit

In the first half, did ONE player run past for a handball receive? I seriously don't remember any...
Good game by Owies, Cotts, Kennedy,.
Rucks did well except in the last 5 minutes...
Gee, that first half.. They seriously don't know what to do

Go Blues!

Jim, I would do it in a heartbeat...if Cripps gave us Harley Reid, where do I sign. We are going NOWHERE with his leadership

To me it looks clear as day that we don't have the talent.
It is not like we have good wins against good teams
and then flop in big moments. We lose constantly against teams that are higher on the ladder or teams on a roll. We need better players in the 22 that can execute instructions over 120 mins. We can only hope for fluke wins against solid teams and wins over bottom teams this year. Hopefully a minor blowing up of the list occurs this off season.

Why do people imagine clubs would be rushing to get Cripps on their lists, much less offer up Pick 1? They almost certainly knew of Cripps' weaknesses long before we did.

Cripps has been a clearance beast and has given us some great games. BUt once he ceases to be that clearance beast his lack pace and run esp in todays' game he becomes a millstone around our neck (magnified be the presence of players with similar traits to Cripps). Of course, he may be carrying an injury.

Lost again at "the home of football"

This was so apparent to me all night ..... WTF was he doing ???

Those multiple round the corner "bullshit kicks" at goals scored us doughnuts tonight. Add to that the 2 complete misses by Walsh (set shot and on the run) and yes we lose by 20 points. Did not deserve to get that close after that first half debacle.

This team is the biggest tease but in the end just breaks your heart.

The reality is this has been another false dawn like so many before. This isn't a team capable of winning a final let alone a premiership. Hell, it's highly unlikely they could even make finals. Right now, they look anything but a finals side.

It's so depressing. This club is rotten to the core. The stink of failure is now embedded into the fabric of its being. I fear it will never wash out
