Brisbane have won 5 in a row, they're the form team of the comp. Let's not forget they destroyed the best team in AFL history, kicked 10 in a row against them. If we weren't allowed to be happy about beating WCE by 108, why should we slash wrists over losing to BL by 26?

As many have said, it's all about the skills. Not about effort, not about courage, not about socks. I've lost count of the number of times we've kicked 90% of our goals in the 1st and 4th Qs when the pace is electric, but lost the game in the middle half when we lack the precision or nous to score in a low tempo game. Not sure how we're going to fix this. Just hope we've got enough about us to make finals, we won't win a flag with this squad but at least let's make it enjoyable.

I'm glad you admit you don't know how to fix it.

I can just imagine all the high fives during the week after belting a WAFL team last week. Back to the AFL this week and a real test and surprise, surprise we get spanked and embarrassed again on a Friday night game. Don't let the final score mislead you.

Weitering is sliding down very quickly in becoming an average player. His turnovers and spoils to the front of the goals is embarrassing. He looks all at sea.

Harry, seriously, has provided nothing this year except for some good marks. For such a big man he is so timid and dopey.

Cerra is having a great year.

Hewitt, fall from grace this year, not sure what has happened, same with Cripps.

Another almost game from Silvagni, started great and then the crap kicking came back.

Show me the last 5 6 day breaks.
Show me the last 5 return from perth games.
Show me the last 5 test or line in the sand games.

There'd be alot of fails amongst them

Reminds me of the last pre season comp gf. One way traffic in 2nd half. Think Voss was their coach at the time. Vomit

Scoreline flattered us. Bris did what they had to do but gee our boys really lowered their colours tonight. The defence was a shambles at times, big key mistakes from Newman, Young, Kemp were just gutting. Ed getting caught HTB in the middle of the ground in Q4, uuuuugh.

Acres got plenty of touches but made a few mistakes early.

It followed an eerily similar pattern to a Teague game, stick with them for a quarter, then once the opposition coach has his 30 min to work us out, we start to lose the game.

Feel for anyone who went along to that. I think we were all pretty excited for that game as the week built up, then to go an hour in a game of footy & not score a goal, just had a real stench about it.

I wasn’t excited CK.

I was dreading this game.

Every time we have an opportunity to take a significant step we fall over.

It’s been going on for years. It’s like the club is playing perpetual rope a dope with its supporters.

An incredible lack of leadership all over the ground and a playing group who seem entirely unconcerned with losing.

My life is really good outside of football. Not sure why I keep doing this to myself.

I’m pretty close to done.

We will be competitive against good opponents but are going to be unlikely to beat these teams our coaches and selection are way behind the top teams
Really Voss has been out coached consistently I reckon it is a good sign that he is not a very good coach

Sloppy skills, turnovers, and I will not mention the game plan (Voss).

When is someone going to tell Harry he is over 200cm and 100kg. Throw yourself around Harry, make the defenders wonder where you are.

Out coached at 1/4 time.
On another note I’m sick of Cripps playing for a free and sulking when he doesn’t get it.
And Harry pointing at the mark like the umpire is going to say ok have 50m.
I’d like to see all of our players run back a few steps when they take a mark!! not slowly pace back whilst the opponents set up and take away all the options.
I think I enjoyed watching in 2017/18 more as I had zero expectations

Same GWS however I am done. I feel like a spoiled brat after the joy this club gave me in my first 25 years of my life. The last 25 years have been the opposite. I was so invested in this club, attend all home and away Melbourne games, watch the reserves and used to go to many training sessions when we were able to go.

I still get 2 memberships every year and watch every game however now I dont expect too much anymore, this way I don't get to disappointed.

For what it's worth, I thought Brisbane were better than St Kilda and Adelaide.

I think what I'm most disappointed in is that it started out as the Carlton Respects game and Doc's 150th game, plus the record membership and then ended up with boos at 3/4 time and half the crowd leaving (I left).

I can't understand how we can make so many hideous turnovers! We're not just missing a target, we're kicking to an opponent who's in metres and metres of clear space.

Same as me tommi.
After so many bad years you have to wonder if we will ever get back to being a top side.

Our good players were smashed tonight. Cripps, Walsh, Curnow, McKay were all well beaten. Throw in the turnover kings in Acres, Weitering, Young and even Saad tonight. And finally a game plan that gets picked apart, exploited and made to look second rate by good coaches and tonight is what you get.

I'm impatient for success. When tonight happens, I'm handling it worse and worse. 20 years of disappointment has a tendency to do that to you

The turnovers were abysmal tonight .... so many errors ... passes missing players by metres.
Even Effes mentioned the same thing with guys like JSOS, Acres and Weitering the main culprits. Every one of those misses ended up in goals to Brisbane.
Yes Cranium .... even Saad.
Game Over.

This is what happens when we play a serious senior AFL team.
