We are third FFS! Only percentage - albeit a fair bit of it - keeping us off 2nd!!
Now let’s see whether we can handle the opportunity!
Step 1: Pies

Watching Pies against Freo and there game style reminds me of ours . Very contested ball side . Its game on . We are going to get a run for for our money . Still reckon our best is better than there best but it aint gonna be a walk in the park . Reckon the AFL will be licking there lips .

Sydney's game style is like ours. Contested ball.

Agree mate, they've played well against Freo (& done the right thing by us in the process)

Glad they've played in Perth on a 7 day break but this won't be easy for us at all.

The Pies were excellent against Freo. We will have our hands full next week.

There is no way Marchbank will be considered until he plays at least 4 full games in the seconds.

Mirkov is miles off senior footy, no chance unless we have no other options.

Carroll out for Martin if fully fit if not Dow.

SOS looked stuffed in the last qtr, I think the demands on him are taking its toll - playing high half forward, leading tall, ruck and the pressure he applies is very demanding.

Didn't Mirkov go off injured late in todays game?
This is going to be a tough game. Pies will get a lot of confidence after today. Hoping the shorter turn around, heavy ground and travel will take a bit out of them. Imagine the size of the crowd.

I'm glad the Pies had a good win. I'd rather them come in with misplaced confidence than rebounding off a flogging.

Hopefully the weather plays its part. They were very good in the wet conditions.
Just played surge football.

Yes and Freo appear to be not very good in the wet. We have the players to match them in every area on the ground. I have confidence the coaches will move the pieces to get an advantage and we will win, hopefully running away but a win by 1 point will suit as well.

Tough slog against the Pies, as it’s always been, however with a bit of luck we should being home the 4 pts .

I think we need either Kemp or Marchbank to come in as another tall option.
We need to keep Moore and Howe on the defensive.

Good call , especially as our good mate B4ever suggests , Jack looks totally stuffed . Love Jack , but he is only human and needs a little bit of weight off his shoulders . Kemp looks far better in the AFL than he does in the VFL . Besides , i thought he wasn't too bad in the magoo's yesterday . Give him credit , he was trying to cover a lot of his inept teammates . Didn't have the luxury of just worrying about his own game and that would be bloody hard when coming back from injury . Nah , i like Kemp . Reckon he has a future .

Spot on Mick. Very hard to soar like an eagle when surrounded by turkeys.

Hopefully tacklers are aware of Ginnivan's antics.

I'm really excited for this game.

Collingwood coming off a great win at Fremantle, will be up for it, and full of confidence. It'll be a great test for us.

If we perform well, get the 4 points, and go into bye week at 9-2, it'll be confirmation that we are the real deal, and that Voss is building something special.
