I hope daisy pulls the pin at the end of the year, shame to see a very good footballer in the situation he's in, he looks physically knackerd and mentally cooked, he tries hard but the game has left him behind

and that shits me no end. He's cooked.
Thomas takes the spot of a good kid.
Play him in the ressies. Adds nothing.

Not his fault, Carlton signed him and no-one in their right mind will pass that up. Meanwhile Eddie is up to 65 goals for the year.

Play him in the twos, they can do that, but he won't be quitting until the end of next year at least.

What do you mean by "at least"... when is his contract up? Do you like inflicting pain on people?! :-x

Yes, when it's up. Should've said "at the latest". Don't think Carlton will be giving him another.

Pros:

Fantastic intent & effort from the team
Gibbs & Cripps damaging particularly 1st half
RC showed good signs in only his 2nd game. Good pace, skills & strength
Weitering another assured display
Rucks nullified the premier AFL ruckman's (Gawn"s) dominance
Buckley utilised his greatest asset - pace to good effect. Career best goal haul was just reward
Good crowd

CONS:
Graham snagged 2 goals but his decision making needs plenty of work
Dees got majority of their goals from our turnovers

Drop the player Bolton has consistently picked and pick Boekhorst/Smith/DVR so we can revisit the support gifted to Russell, Yarran or Menzel. It's all about the youth.

Really good team effort and much better energy determination and grit than Aints game and most of Brisbane game

Great effort Cripps Gibbs Simpson Doherty plowman

Special mention to jones easily best game for club -if the guy only chased with that desperation all the time and played with that intensity would play every week

Buckley a slow developer but is improving and well played

Nick Graham is an enigma really good at times clever good body positioning and other times butchers the ball -hope he gets another season to show his wares and continue his improvement

Mick didn't do us many favours but really stifled development of Graham and Buckley
Thought rucks wore down Gawn well and handy performance
Good after 9 losses to record a win
Umpires murdered Dees but did it to us a few games this year hello Western Bulldogs so win them and wear them I suppose
Good to see weitering and Cunningham playing and future does look bright
Future backline anchored around plowman weiters and doc looks pretty good to me

My Dees supporting father in law has been all chat all week.
Strangely went missing (much like his football team) when I game him a 'friendly' call post siren.

There's only one team in the AFL that could possibly be "Flakier" than Carlton and that's Melbourne.

Good win! For some strange reason, i knew we'd win this.

- Cripps is a god-damn superstar........ Hasn't even played 50 games yet! back-to-back B&F and should get a look in at All Australian - but wont!
- Buckley has proven now that he is in our best 22.
- Thought Kreuzer was good today. Ditto Gibbs
- Tackling preasure was intense today. Love to see that continue next year.

Cons:

- Thomas......... just play him in the two's. He's shot! I cringe everytime i see Eddie doing well at the Crows!!! FU Malthouse!!!
- Levi............. Nope. Trade him. To be honest, I would prefer Jones over Levi. Jones looks like he has tried to work on his game. He's preasure and 2nd efforts have improved.

True not his fault, thank Malthouse and the old club attitude for that, how long has he got to run?

Need both while the kids are still developing. Last it was Levi who played well with 4 goals, this weeks Jones but we play better with both in the side as the win/loss ratio shows. Levi has shown to be the better of the two although having said that Jones has improved out of sight. Seems to like having Levi round and playing CHF where he a move more. Poster on a Carlton Facebook site spoke to Levi. Carlton want him, he wants to stay at Carlton and Levi said it's nearly done but for a few "i's" to dot and a few "t's" to cross. Won't be traded.
