Pathetic, gutless and shit skills from the team as a whole.
They couldn't beat that rabble even when they couldn't get a touch of the football.
Our foot skills are so shit in front of goal we are just throwing opportunities away and even at the death when cool heads were needed and a bit of system, they just kept doing what has lost them games every week and bombed it long.
Anybody who thinks that last quarter counts for anything is delusional. We are in serious trouble and any amount of love and player involvement from the coach can't make a shit game plan look good. It needs a massive overhaul, especially since it is defence based. Any team defence that lets Brisbane score 7 in a quarter is doing something very wrong.
They waited almost three quarters to run the ball. Buckley first and then Simpson, Touhy and Boekhurst but it was too little too late. When they start off like that they are a different team. Why Bolton has them playing kick and mark/turnover football amazes me. I watched the Dogs and Collingwood last night and we are a mile behind both of them in the style of football we play.
Kreuzer is shot.
3 kicks, two ineffective
One mark
Five frees against
One dropped mark that led to a goal.
Not many handballs I can remember
A few hitouts against a basketball player.
Worst game he has played for us for the year. Maybe longer. Get rid of him. Tell everybody he is injured to save face.
Weitering looks injured in the trunk.
Cripps is going to end up crippled.
I am not happy with any team aspect of that debacle. A few individual plusses and that's it.
Melbourne could well beat us by 60 points next week.
Kreuzer got 14 touches, 10 kicks. did better than you thought I saw/heard nothing during the first half but listened to the 2nd half on the way home. Heard his name quite alot. So i'm guessing his first half was very bad. Phillips got 5 touches.
We really do need to drop a ruckman. As we've seen Casboult is twice the player when he has key position help, even if Jones was shit, and can move around more without 3 defenders on him. Will do even better if he can get a run on the ball and grab some marks around the ground as it suits him. Dropping a ruckman means we can pick another runner. The change in mobility would be alot.
Interesting. I counted his kicks as they happened. He may have had some off the ground in packs I missed. And I did cross to TC a few times but 10? Hmmm. I'll have to watch the tape during the week and look or any sprouts.
Regardless, he had a shocker. He wasn't alone in that regard.
