Not worried in the slightest.
Advantage is you get pick number one in the PSD and have some leverage in the trade period.

Biggest reason I don't mind (aside from shaming the board into some constructive self-immolation - if anyone in that group feels any shame), is #1 pick in the PSD.

It doesnt worry me either ,it really hurt the 1st time when we won the wooden spoon ,now if it means we can climb up the ladder well and good. At least Scum,Filth,Tiggers wont win the flag this year.
There are advantages,1st Pick in both Drafts,+ we will have bargaining power. In saying that I would much rather win games than lose games

We've never come 18th before.

A team needs new goals.

They might as well be realistic.

To be fair, we've already suffered enough embarrassment for 2015.

And this time we didn't have to tank & develop a losing culture to get it. We came last whilst trying our hardest to win

Just another Kruezer, Murphy, Gibbs for us to winge about in 5 years time or another we can trade to watch him became a star somewhere else. You've learnt nothing!

Yeah, even if we actually deserve the spoon (no tanking involved) we should immediately shun the idea of having the top rated junior in the country. Do you want to learn anything?

Our number one picks are still out best players.
Get more number one picks.

SOS wants as many number one picks as possible.. I mean early ones

You can't recruit good players if they are not there to begin with. You have to get them from somewhere, even if it's from finishing last and getting the best rated junior in the country. The whole idea you can have a blue collar work ethic and the rest will just fall into place is just as daft as having a savior mentality. You still have to do the hard work off the field.

Cant see any of the bottom 10 clubs trading their first pick for an individual player on our list, the top clubs might, SOS will have to package up players and picks to get deals done.

My hunch is that this trade period is going to leave Carlton fans stunned.

Don't buy your kids any more player badges this season, they may not get much use out of them

WARNING ROSE COLOURED GLASSES AHEAD!

You know I hate to be positive ray of light amongst the doom and gloom here but, I don't believe our list is that bad !

We have a group of boys who sleep with the light on, nice, sociable boys, who don't have a dash of cauliflower amongst the lot of them.

They have lost faith with the gameplan, maybe the coach, certainly each other, I firmly believe we have a better list, on paper at least, than Richmond, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, West Coast, St Kilda, Collingwood, .........

I've stuck up for Mick until last weekend, the confidence, fragile to begin with, was smashed by him saying we cant get any good players, they were all told they're on the trade table, after round 2!!! That's not how you build confidence in young men.

We have better footballers than 18th on the ladder, our recruiting has been poor, but our leadership worse!

* OK BACK TO ARMAGEDDON

With trading and Free Agency these days the AFL should make Player Badges where the base badge is a generic photo of the player's head and you buy seperately a cover for the badge that has the club guernesy and number on it. When your favorite player switches teams you just buy a cheap cover and only have to switch the front part of the badge across.

"Cheap" and "AFL Licensed" together?
First time for everything I guess.
