just long kicks to contests from both teams for what felt like about 10 minutes.

no one running, no one looking to rebound or spread. it's the worst standard of football i've ever seen. no joke. ever! why we clear out our forwardline and leave not one single player at home baffles the shit outta me. we weren't doing that last season?

it's football suicide to do this, even if you're defending a lead late in the 4th, i wouldn't recommend sending the whole house into defense. but here we are 4 minutes into the 1st qtr doing it.

Sacking Malthouse and having Laidley or Barker take over may result in short term success, win a few extra games, give us some hope for the future.

The last thing this club needs right now is false hope.

We're terrible on and off field and we need to understand that and review everything from top to bottom between now and the end of the season.

Leave him in place, let things hit rock bottom so the club is forced to accept the true state of things.
