Malthouse is past it.

He is but like i said he didn't hire himself. We are [REDACTED] and we as supporters can't do shit about it. We never voted for the president or members of the board and they still haven't be made to account for the pathetic way our club is run.

Just wont be re-contracted.

Don't think he will be re-contracted and the scuttlebutt from journos is that MM believes he is no chance of going on.

That said, the Pres said we honour our contracts and he will not be sacked.

Interesting to see if the club at any stage tells him he will not get another contract next year and is simply coaching for time. Would he go? I doubt it.

Then again, if that did happen and we continued to be poor, it will kill us.

This is much, much worse than the debacle we were in 10 years ago.

He wouldn't give up the money.

I think the players are distracted by Micks contract not being extended. Gotta be it.

Hopefully his wife cries a lot this wk and he retires

POTY.

Doesn't quite cover the contempt I have for MM and all the people associated with his employment.

I reckon we were pretty lucky with the umpiring today.

I actually don't think our list is THAT Bad. Sure, we have some average players, but how are you expected to kick goals and win matches with the negative style of football we play.

Sure, the players need to take some of the responsibility - but Malthouse needs to cop most of it! And rightly so too.

Face it, we have one of the worst lists in the competition and probably 'the worst' going forward. Any 'woulda', 'coulda' or 'shoulda' statements are moot.

i hope the miserable !@#$% on our elite benefactor's list who bypassed any possible protocol and hurried through the move to sack ratten and appoint malthouse – mid book tour, i might add – are well and truly pleased with themselves.

Tad over 20,000 they said.

Now that's more concerning than the loss if you ask me.

The supporters were pretty keen to get him in if i remember correctly. The board were crap for listening to the nuff nuffs.

The whole play at the end of 2012 was completely wrong.

We needed to smash the list up that pre season. It was so obvious at the time.

I don't doubt that but all the calls to 'sack Malthouse' seem to only be interested it getting half the job done (or less). You have to treat the disease, not just the symptoms.

They said the same thing about Port ... until they actually started playing under a decent coach.

We have gone backward at a million miles an hour since the Madhouse took over.

DON'T believe what you hear in the media ... thats one of the reasons we ended up in this mess. It was Richmondesque.
