singalong now....

Carlton crowd going nuts at the "then god is seven ..then god is seven" bit .

Would make my day hearing that pre bounce but think my day only........and yours.

The song should not need to mention the blues, blue or anything like that but more something to do with a team mantra.
Like "never tear us apart" does. It is about unity and strength.

Having said that my choice " Walking in Memphis ". The opposite to what i just wrote.

or Born to run.......Has to be Born to run.

House of Pain to celebrate Marc Murphy's high flying marks. I happily remember the crowd going @#$%&! nuts to this at a Grandmaster Flash gig I attended once upon a time ago. Good enough reason for me.

Oops can't remember YouTube code on Tapatalk. EDIT: turns out the IMG tag does the trick!

Hoodoo Gurus - #17 (Number 17)

You have a taste for something
You liked to very long ago
Nothing can equal blazing a trail
Through fields of virgin snow
It's so warm, it's so sweet. You're number 17
It's so firm, it's so neat. You're number 17.

Years ago, I think it was after the 79 or 81 premiership wins, the Blues premiership team released this song, ( I remember buying the vinyl disc :)
"Blue is the Colour" - which is the Chelsea theme song.

I could see this going well, with all our fans singing (though not in an english accent though!)

Of course in the Blues version, Chelsea was replaced with "Carlton" and "the Bridge" was replaced "Princess Park"- now we would make it "the G"......

I find the who Port 'Never Tear Us Apart' thing lame.
Most of their toothless bogan fans pretend they're loyal and passionate, when in reality you couldn't give away tickets to Port games 2 years ago.
Manufactured 'passion' at its best.

used by Melbourne Victory and various other soccer clubs around the world, and some college teams in the USA too I think.
