Can't take any solace from that when teams like Geelong and Hawthorn just keep unearthing one gem after another when forced to dig deep, while we look utterly bereft when we have two or three blokes out.

It's a few more than two or three but yes, you're right.

...and the Cats copped a 100pt flogging a couple of months back.

but you are right. We are rubbish.

 The point is not about how we 'feel' about the match, it's about where we are at. I don't know where these "FFS"s are coming from - you blokes are just responding to your own cognitive dissonance and nothing else. No one should be under any illusions.

Look at the players around them that make it easier to transgress into AFL. Talent at the top end goes a long way to balance out the inequity at the bottom end.

Port were flying then, they even knocked off the hawks and Freo - all within a month

Westoff, Gray and Wingard have been out of form for about 2 months now.

They all starred tonight.

jake Nealle and Jasper Pittard too good for us

Amazing how many times this shit happens - opposition always use us as a spring board. Mentally week. Also common for opposition teams to blood young players against us - they know they wont get hurt.

you would never think of blooding a first gamer against the Hawks, Swans or the Cats

What are your thoughts on the club acquiring Shaun Higgins?

Quite a few CFC support hence their biggest crowd ever, where were all the rest?
Time to take a walk with your Port love....? Tiresome.

Sure we can make a lot of excuses for that debacle. Players are mentally shot, injuries, nothing to play for etc and there is good basis for those excuses, I expected us to lose, but not like that. Lets not forget we were playing a side that has won only two of its last seven games and those two wins were over Melbourne (3 points) and Gold Coast (9 points).
