can someone tell those imbeciles out there that the higher you kick the ball, the longer it stays in the air. Practice bullet like passing all flowering summer...Just watch Hawthorn and Geelong

F.... it makes my piss boil!!!!!!

Blaine looked OK. Nice kicking style...that's the first thing I look at. Keep him in for the rest of the year.

Dopey Jamison, falls down like a brick wall, then looks around like it's everyone's fault..

Simpson good, which game did you watch? For a leader of the club and what he is capable of he is quite poor right now.

He's hardly Robinson Crusoe there.

Yarran, just keeps on getting better, should start playing roles in the midfield...

I think they have his position worked out. He pounces on the ball coming from behind. If they drag him away he is good enough to play various other outside positions and forward.

I reckon we've showed enough in patches to say the talent is there, maybe not for top 4 but definitely top 8.

We are so inconsistent though its ridiculous. It's hard to tell sometimes who is a good kick and who isn't because even our best kicks are capable of howlers.

If you want to know why we lost this game, Henderson hits the post at one end. Beams at the other end, from further out splits the middle.

Daisy late with the highlights as well.

FMD how many time late in games is Brock gunna kill us.?

Just Brock, what about Curnows howler?

Surely that's Brock's last game, Army's also. Too many dumb footballers suffering from a clueless coach who takes a quarter or two to work out the matchups.

I pointed out Brock because I reckon he's done that 4 times this year late in games.

I know, Brock's gone, so why is MM still playing? Graham gets 30+ each week and can't get a look in. So many have gone backwards under MM and he plays spuds. Thomas is shocking, we would have gotten better value recruiting Bernie Vince and saved a packet in the salary cap. It killed me watching Jacobs and Betts tearing up Port today and I have to watch Spudnock get beaten by a 15 gamer.

I reckon you can add at least 6 other players to that list. Most won't be there in 2-3 years. Recruiting department is inept and no-one wants to come to Carlton anyway. Dark days ahead.

Apart from gifting them goals he only laid one tackle.

The pies had 30 more tackles than us.

Good point bax.
Bernie Vince would be better than Thomas.

So that's Young, Vince, Betts, could be a few more.

All for around $300-$400k.

Piss off Warnock. Give me Cameron Wood over him any day of the week
And Jamo...you were as bad as Watson was against Hawthorn
Play Walker third tall ala Richard Dennis for the rest of his career. Don't want to see him down back any more

I am convinced Malthouse is on fat eds payroll. He gives betts, Garlett and Waite the flick, and recruits a half broken Daisy. Pissed Walker, and Simmo off too. Then we have no more run. Well done..

I know.

Hard to believe.

Hey, I reckon we could crow bar Wellingham out of the Eagles for a top 20 pick an $800k.

DO IT MICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember about 3 years ago when teams were abandoning taggers, or had 1 in the team?

We had 4-5 in the team tonight. In 2014. Where pace, SKILLS and ball winning ability are the keys to the game.

(...and these players, are taggers for a reason, because skills, ball winning ability and other attributes are awful and stop them being good players outright)

Regenerate the god damn list.

Pros
Judd was super for most of the match.
Yazz was a Rolls Royce....not one wasted possession from memory.
Rowe has cemented his spot and is one of the rare highlights in a very dark year.

Cons
Jammo surely must be badly injured, so why play him ? He was worse than Watto by a fair space tonight.
I'll say it for the 5th flowering time this year.....please please please drop Brock the very slow Rock for good and play Graham.
No room for Carrots and Curnow in the one team. Curnow runs better for longer so keep him and ditch Carrots. Make him Captain-Coach of Northern or something like that.
Daisy shite for most of the night but gradually improved. Still only gave him 3/10 though.
We may beat the Aints on that effort  but hopefully Mick knows what he has to do......

Surely would do more around the ground.

same old story, too few doing most of the heavy lifting with too many ordinary players

people forget how good Judd was during our finals years with Ratten

even then we had ordinary players

only now we have a declining Judd who can't rescue us no more

can't believe people talk up Curnow on this site
