Why is it that we always have to go for "the best in the business" all the time? Why can't we just HAVE the best in the business already? You know, in house, from the ground up, trend setting and showing them all how its done. Why are we still clinging to this outdated philosophy of having to get the best from elsewhere? When are we going to develop our own talent, on and off the field?
I'm kinda getting tired of this hiring and firing business all the time. I wanna see us develop our own people from the ground up.

you need to be imaginative and set out plans to do that....
problem with setting something like that up is the people who are supposed to be doing would wouldnt be the same people... they would be different people...

anyone notice big pic of Kate Moss show casing top shop about to open melbourne at emporium. Well she had just been busted for drugs lost her modelling contracts and Arcadia boss called her and signed her up. Marketing exec quit because it was not in alignment with strategy, poor image etc etc. Kate has been a huge success for top shop now for over 10 yrs. My point not necessarily a bad thing to sieze opportunities without checking with everyone...you just need to have great board members who have the judgement and balls to do it right.
