Went down to the club for the presser and caught up with Heath afterward...he only told the playing group this morning, will kind of follow the Nick Stevens' path and wants to get involved in underage coaching. Will help out Luke Webster at the Northern Blues for a little bit this year. We'll probably see him as an assistant to one of the under-18 TAC clubs next year. Will sit back and try and take it all in over the next week. He's in a bit of shock...when he says it's a degenerative ankle - he's not kidding...his ankle is rooted.

Club still deciding who to promote...probably won't be announced for a little while. Heath will get a send-off vs Adelaide this weekend. Great bloke...great career at Carlton. Thanks very much Collingwood...

He was shown the 'December 2003 intake' photo today...last man standing. Tony de Bolfo also sat down with Heath for half an hour and interviewed him so that'll be up soon I guess.

It's a shame that Heath never got the chance to play off in a GF while at Carlton.
Very, very good player, underrated IMO.

Agree.

Love watching Heath play. Sad he's been brought down in this way.

Only one thing for it: the boys need to get up for Scotto for the rest of the year.

Just give us the cup!

One of my absolute favourite players. Harder than a cats head and gave 100% every minute he pulled on the jumper. Thank you Scotto.

No - there's one that doesn't include Walks. A rejects photo. Appropriate seeing the founder of the Reject Shop, John Shuster, is a massive Carlton supporter. Decent golfer as well.

I just looked at that one on the carlton site with half them hiding behind the goal posts. Apt really. Good times 2003. Good times.

Not only that, how many times would you see him plug the hole in front of a leading opp` forward. Takes guts doing that.

Yeah, nah.

True, old skool is better, but I'd be happy for a return to the above design.

Good call. Agree entirely.

Don't think he ever quite got the credit he deserved, but he was a bloody solid player for this club. As tough as nails and capable on both feet. Great servant for the club and will be missed.

yes from what i understand... micks looking at who will be around to take the club forwards
alot of players dont have anything to contribute... either cant get on the park or not capable of playing the game at this standard

this season is dedicated towards the core group to keep around...
id say there will be huge changes

He was on SEN tonight. He mentioned that he wants to coach and said he hoped to help out with the Northern Blues this year.
