Yeah maybe. I thought at times when McLean was off tonight we lacked an extra inside mid. Everyone was waiting outside with no one getting into the contest to extract.

Still, it'd be good to see a healthy list and see what we have. Rowe and white are pretty solid down back and the one game with cas, hendo and Waite up front, we looked really good.

Rowe was actually OK.

Menzel, Dock and Bucks are great players.

In 12 months they will be 12 months older.

Yeah but in 12 years they'll probably all be retired and THEN WHAT?????

Hmmm, we need a plan.

A plan. What's that?

Best thing I saw was Buckley in the last when the game was done prowling the bench/ boundary yelling instructions to Rowe and Walker in defence about positioning and Stkilda player moves.

Yes ! Yah! Ye-haw ! Celebrate good times, come on !

13th on the ladder. If Carlton are lucky they might even get to 11th on the ladder.

Next game we should have Waite, carrots, judd and bell back. Add curnow and we'll win more than we lose, imo

But who goes out..? Menz and Buckley? ??

sorry but that was a terrible game

I wouldn't get too excited with what we produced tonight

our disposal was ordinary as usual

luckily St Kilda was worse

we played a young team with injuries and couldn't put them away

unfortunately there will be a lot of pain to come

Hard to get excited about that. Liked menzel, bucks, yarran is a rolls royce, gibbs had lots of the ball and if thomas is on $700k, then $500k for bg is okay. He still stands back too often from 50/50s. The Sts were totally inexperienced and made horrible mistakes, but when they pressured us in the 3rd we looked weak. Walker is in terrible form. Thomas looks a shadow of his former self, a $700 k defensive fwd ag a bottom 3 side. We are playing below our talent level. The key for a coach is to make the whole greater than the sum of the parts. We are the opposite.

Best bit was when the CFC runner pushed Murphy on purpose into Hayes at a stoppage

Murphy lacked concentration at that point and the runner basically shoved him into line, classic !! I didn't know runners could do that. It's as if they're playing out there

Thought Gibbs was hard at it, like a player whose decided to stay blue

White and Rowe and Cas continue to improve

Daisy should be in the VFL getting fit . 8 touches is not great

Brock and Simmo need to be more effective with their touches.

Hendo seems lost

Walker and Garlett soft again

Warnock getting to more contests is good

Love The Doc

Menz and Bucks of course

Garlett, Ellard, Tuohy would all be in the gun.

Such a shame we won tonight.

Maybe it might point to a future loss (fingers crossed).

Then everything will be OK because the losses will truly show what a terrible club we are. Once everyone knows how horrible we are only then will people actually get off their arses and do something about it.

So we will be run by a group of people who understand that the Carlton Football club is a terrible club and run it accordingly.

I really hope you're joking.........

Losses are the frigen reason we're in this mess. All the days of us tanking hoping to get draft picks thinking that's the answer is the reason we've got such a terrible culture.

Winning games of football is the only way out of this mess.

Rowe actually pushes revolt in the back who dives in front of Murphy running past... Thing is, you never know with the stupid MRP....

Thats how I saw it, almost looked like he lunges at Murphy as he comes towards the contest. Reprimand at worst

Rowe's best game for Carlton as far as I can recall.

Warnock had one of his best games last week, but I would love his paypacket for what he produces, which isn't a whole lot.

Nice to see Menzel start the match proper.

This sort of ultra high reasoning is why myself and many others wait with baited breath to hear the next expert mutterings of the extreme oligarch experts of the online forums.

The insights are amazing.

I have trouble looking away for more than three months at a time.

Good to have a win on Monday night footy
At the game it was obvious we really lack composure in the back half when the opposition has a run on and pressures us
3rd quarter was diabolical, lucky the Saints kicked 7 points (as we kicked 6 points in Q1) - Collingwood all over again
Just that bit of class, composure and hitting targets in the backline wousl make all the difference, alas not this year....
Was never comfortable until the end, but happy for the boys

Yarran BOG for mine followed by Gibbs and Simmo
Murphy did a lot of hard running and cut them up a couple of times
Super impressed with Buckley - if he can get it a few more times a game he will really hurt the opposition

Rowe did really well on Riewoldt for the most part.
Walker was rubbish again.
Yarran and Menzel enjoyable to watch.
So many crap skills on display all round though.
The Monday night football experiment needs to end, barely 27K and it made for a very flat game at the ground.
White will get suspended I reckon.
