Not sure why it came to be but the 99 prelim was a good day

Kouta's 116 marks against WC at PP in 96

Ron DeUlio's goal after being flattened by Tony Shaw in the Centenary game at the G in 92

Andrew Phillips' snap over the shoulder at Waverley in 89

And of course, who could ever forget the day...Jezza waited in his hotel room in Canberra for a call from Wes Lofts after Capper sealed Wallsy's fate in 89

And speaking of Wes, the night during the half time break of the Escort Cup that he announced that Carlton had secured the services of Frank Marchesani

My two personal favorites.
Braddles goal against wc. I was sitting on the wing as he ran past. And was directly behind when he launched into the shot for goal. The atmosphere at the ground when he kicked that goal was golden. We all knew that day we would beat the best team in the comp. The @#$%&! malthouse and his Eagles.

Also beating Collingwood at the match of the century was very sweet too. Loved giving shit to t shaw that evening. Ronnie played alright for us that evening.

At Princes park randomly choose a 3rd quarter in the late 1970s, early to mid 1980s.
Dominator, Buzz, Marcou, southby, fitzy, sellers, Doull, Harmes, Ashman, Hunter, Buckley, Sheldon, Glascott, MaClure and Rod Galt

that whistler on the wing when the blues were running riot....

You could be waiting in line for a beer or pie, and when that whistle started you knew there was a goal about to be drilled by one of our mosquito fleet.

I lived right around the corner in east brunswick, I could hear the crowd from my backyard

Made all the more impressive by the fact he had a VCR under his arm at the time

Barassi signing from Melbourne in the mid 60's was a massive moment.

We were a basket case similar to today. Going through our worst Premiership drought. Barassi coming to Carlton was the start of more than 20 years of success.

I cant recall Angwin stealing or cheating whilst playing out on the ground.

I cant say that about every player that has worn a navy blue jumper. (esp recently)

The most obvious IMHO and the record holder for most games never played. Must have been over a thousand walking the boundary. The guy with the hessian sack slung across his shoulder before the game and and during half time.

Shilling a bag, Shilling a bag.

Before decimal currency (and after), roasted peanuts when footy was footy and the Blues ruled the VFL.

Only the Blues had him and only at PP.
