Very winnable game.

Eagles have problems with pace and quick ball movement and they are not playing with a lot of confidence .

Unfortunately either Waite or Hendo will probably need to go down back.

Our backline is really weak....imo

Sure against the Bulldogs White and Rowe kiilled a lot of contests but they're the players you pick when you dont have any options imo.

I prefer walker in the forwardine because he's too risky in the backline of late.

Rowe White Walker vs Darling Kennedy Cox/ Nic Nat and the 4th tall when they do is no comp for the WCE stars.

Kennedy will run rings around Rowe and Rowe will be spent by the last. Ditto White against Darling.
Says to me Hendo in the backline and please please hope we see return of Jammo. Walker forward.

Cachia for Curnow
Garlett for Judd
Buckley for ????????? Lucas...may suit Subi
Hy what about Robinson....surely he'll come into the seniors

Fingers crossed we turned the corner against the Doggies.

WCE are away, game's @ Etihad.
Don't think Lucas should be dropped.

Things could really be looking up once Docherty slots in, and Jammo is back eh?

Glass is half full....but have to say I too dont trust this current lot.

Like before the season started Watson holding down CHB was always going to be one of the most important things to happen for us.

So far there have been question marks on the midfield and now we lose Curnow and Judd, so yeah Dochert is iimportant and Jammo is critical against a tall team like WCE.

Hope Jamo is ok. Otherwise we are in trouble.

I read Watson is going well in the 2nds, except apparently he is a giant dud and never will make AFL standard, so we shouldn't pick him. Just delist him.

Glass gone.
Nic Nat might be in trouble for smashing Kane Cornes into the turf

The team stood up yesterday so i hope the supporters turn up for this game, our crowds have been pretty disappointing so far this year (and understandably so).
Buckley to come in, not sure why he was left out.
Judd and Curnow obvious outs. There will be some sore boys and only a 6 day break.
Yesterdays game was really taxing, so some fresh legs are needed.
A winnable game, i just hope we play with the same intensity.

Watson is a career 2nd grader. There's nothing wrong with that, it is what it is.

Lots of guys have looked good in the reggies but never been able to make the jump to the afl, and the biggest thing they all had in common was too slow/ not enough athleticism.

imo that is where watson is at. If it was 10 years ago and we still had traditional FF's he could get a game on them. But teams now will run him all up the ground and expose his poor agility & foot speed.

Despite a couple of shoddy kicks, Walker was excellent in defence in that last quarter yesterday. Full of run.

Why do people want Garlett back in? Form in 2's has been average. Ellard doing well as a defensive forward, Scotland played well up forward and our mids are contributing goals.

It looked like it worked well yesterday especially from a balance point of view. Why change it? :?

Personally, names like Graham, Docherty, Buckley, Menzel, Cachia would be better ins.

Someone said Garlett killed it y'day? If he's in touch, his speed around our now tall timber forward line would be an asset, imo.

When people think of players the recollect their highlight reels instead of recent form

We need to turn our list over and that means giving more game time to kids, especially when they deserve it. my pet hate is giving a player a taste and then dropping him the next week... great for confidence that.

imo... Garlett is not in our top dozen or so players anymore therefore shouldn't expect an automatic selection. He needs a month in the reserves and he needs to perform.
