Another situation where they've inadvertently alienated supporters. If a Carlton Supporter Alliance was there it could have gone to them for feedback. Kreuzer doesn't expect to make this list...but one of Carlton fans' favorites gets overlooked? Ridiculous. Sounds as though Collo and Buzz have some history...

Buzz should be in ... nuff said. Change one word of the criteria and he's in ... minimum of 50 games OR five years service.

I'm not sold on minimum service criteria, tends to favour the average over the spectacular. Take Noel O'Brien and Greg Kennedy for instance. O'Brien kicked 118 goals in 31 games (average 3.8 per game) in a season and a half then retired due to injury and Kennedy kicked 79 goals in his debut season (including 12 against Hawthorn) and iinjured his back yet we're selecting Thornton???! It's a "best 150" list not "most consistent 150" or "longest surviving 150" list.

Michael Jamieson should definitely be in, much better than anything Thornton served up and has Manton covered as well as a key defender. Buzz and Ditchburn were leading goalkickers in premiership years ... surely that's enough to get both in. I remember Peter McConville, Phil Maylin, Mark Naley and Fraser Murphy all as good performers in finals. Peter Francis is a premiership player and certainly not his fault we traded him out midway through the 1981 season.

Massive queries over Allan, Beaumont, Dorotich, Hogg, Kreuzer, Manton and Thornton from the players I've seen.

Good call... I'd include all of Naley (he was awesome for a while), Phil Maylin, McConville, F Murphy as well as Dithburn and Brad Pearce ahead of Allan, Beaumont and Thornton. Manton and Hogg were both important contributors in Premiership years. And Dorotitch.

'Perhaps but not quite yet':

Top 5 from that list:
Jezza, Bosustow, Johnston, Kernahan, Williams (with Kouta, Judd on the bench...)

No Bortolloto?

And no Klomp? Surely Klomp deserves a mention - he won a TV in a night game, with 3 possessions

My list is by no means exhasutive...
Yes, I'd include Bortolloto and Hamill. And Kourkoumelis. Maybe De Ilulio. And Betts. Not sure about Klomp - I used to like him but have no idea whether or not he was really any good.

....and then there's Kenny Hunter! And Peter Dean. And David Glascott - best first year player :-)... and Michael Sexton (who reminds me of Jamison; or the other way around....)

Seriously.. Kreuzer ?
You could count his great games on one hand. Henderson's twice the player Kreuzer is. Jamo's better too.
When oh when will we let go of his draft number and admit to ourselves that he's a good ordinary player, nothing more

Ludicrous scenario when Buzz misses out were we finding it hard to find 150 players? Guys like Wiggo and Beaumont have no place in amongst the top 150

You've just made the enemies list.

The club could have constructed a memorial statue outside the ground, or a monument with the names of EVERY single player that has ever put on a senior carlton Jumper.

I realize that Ricky Mott would get a mention - but hey, what the $%^&

They should do a special triple M statue for Mott, McGuane and Martin.

Poor Andrew Merrington gets forgotten every time.

On that theme - a bottom 150 would be good for taking the mind off this shit year. Criteria - over 10 games or two years service?

I agree - **** the criteria.

No Bosustow, no credibility.

I have seen every Carlton player since 1954, and the Buzz would sit high in my top 25.

Brett "close eyes" Thornton making the list shows how the list has no credibility just like the club in the last 10 years or so.

surely this must be some sort of april fool's joke

having both Kreuzer and Thornton in the list is mind boggling, especially considering our rich history

in fact apart from Judd, Murphy, Fevola and maybe Jamison, I would have no one else from the last 10 years in the list

the last 10 - 12 years has been a debacle
