Yeah, but who's counting?

At least we have some kids now. That may make some difference.

One or two of them we should have drafted ourselves.

..only one or two..?.. ..just one or two..??!!.. ..hacks..!!..

Whether its true or not.. happy with Buckley. But he must learn that he needs to get fitter and find more of the ball

Best way to get fitter this time of year (let alone find the ball) is to play ones

Well done Bucks!!

Great game by the lad and gives us something to look forward to when all hope appeared to be lost.

What I really want to see now is Bucks driving some cheating flower's head into the turf this Sunday. Heppell - come on down!.....

Don't care much for this award personally, but it's nice for him to be recognised.

KADE Buckley!!!!!

What he lacks in some areas he makes up for in effort!
Hopefully, this puts the wind up a few of the others too...
He impressed me. I was not expecting him to have an impact early on. I expect his Dad is giving him some good tips in the background... used to love him in his playing days!

Saw his old man do the same thing to Mark "General" Lee 30 odd years ago.

Well done Dylan.

Not sure with all the cameras around he could implement all of Jimmy's tips

I don't understand ... Synbad said Buckley wasn't up to a senior position yet.

We better not play Cripps ... even as a SUB ... he is not ready yet either.

Lets not go down the road of introducing young talent ... stick with the Dr Strangelove plan ... we will all be winners if we do that.

From Dylan Buckley's media conference about the Rising Star nom....

Quote:
Buckley: "Dad says to make sure that I get a kick this week. It's no use playing well for just one game."

Love it!

Oh great.
Now Dylan Buckley has been noticed what's the chances of him being tagged or sniped.
Maybe Murph and Gibbs can have some blinders.

There has been some wild conspiracies in the MH370 thread so I'll try one here.

AFL will engineer a Rising Star nomination for Dylan Buckley to deflect attention from Carlton's shithouse recruiting record over the past 10 years in order to stem the call of revolution to the current status quo of the Carlton power base in order to ensure Carlton remain in AFL mediocrity for the next 10 years.

Well... of course it's doubtful to be anything so deliberate. However, the sad thing is that that is how the club will take it.
