4 guys on coaching staff can give anything from 1 to 4 votes to as many players as they want per game.

In my reckoning

4 Freaking Outstanding
3 Clearly Won Position and contributed to the result
2 Followed Coaches Instructions To The Letter and Beat direct opponent
1 Showed a bit

Is it a total of three voters from the coaching staff as the highest score per round for any match was 11 votes- wasn't it?
I think the highest vote I saw was for Gibbs in the (g/f/prelim) ...sorry... elim final...he got 11 votes.

So it would make sense that two gave him 4/4 and one gave him 3/4...otherwise one person didn't give him a vote?

Just going on what they said at the start of the count.......knowing a few WCE guys from MM's time over here he is a traditionally harsh marker and that would probably go for Wiley as well.

Just references to knocking them off ad nauseum. I was checking back and forth but it seemed that every time I had a look someone was talking about knocking off the Tigers. Ed Curnow my favourite, saying he lived in Richmond so it was great to show the locals that they were no good.

Even Gerard Whateley got in on the act (scripted of course) talking about letting them get out to a lead just enough for them to start thinking that these players were the chosen ones to lead them into a new era before mowing them down mercilessly.

Well done Simmo!

Thankfully the people who wanted to drop him early in the season didn't get what they wanted.

How many people at the start of the year were saying his beard was causing Kade to play bad... as the beard grew longer the better he got....

Well done Kade....

I remember Rhino wanted him traded to Melb for a pick in the 50s...

What, use the spiritual leader of the club winning the JNM as a platform for another round of cheap point scoring??

Totally out of character for this board.

Curnow > Gibbs
And Curnow missed a few games I think????
FMD Gibbs has been a massive underachiever in his career
Let's hope the second half of his career is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the first half

Gibbs missed multiple weeks with a hamstring injury.

No shame finishing below Curnow. Ed had a great season. Blind Freddie could see he was going to do well. Probably one of the first picked every week.
