There is no doubt we played a minor role during trade week/s due to contracts to players that we would have had to pay out. Struggled to improve our list. Seriously are some thinking that MM was going to wave his wand and we would just make top 4 and possibly win the flag. We are going through a process with a better coach. MM will have already identified some that he can develop and some that will not make it. Listen and read the respect the Collingwood players had for MM, Pendlebury stated that the players have a lot to thank him for he developed and made many of them better footballers, we need to go through this process. With Ratten we would have stalled. We could have easily been 2 - 0 not 0 - 2.
