Hamill had one foot out the door and dreams of a buldging bank balance long before Jack put his foot in it.

That may be true, but hindsight also tells us the following is correct as well...

The fact that Hamill still loves Carlton more than St Kilda is a fantastic, wish Livingston had of come on =(

Jack's big mouth gave Hamill the camouflage he needed to take a huge offer elsewhere and still look like the victim.

No Aaron went for the money pure and simple and the reason why he is despised is a bit like goddard at the moment wont admit that was the reason - I despise black jack but not his fault in fact Aaron terribly disloyal to black jack after Jack did everything as did the club to get him to play GF in 1999 given what he did he was very lucky to play in GF - which I might say Aaron was very poor in

Revisionist history - a bit like Collos fault we were at Etihad - Black jACK -did many bad things to our club and for that he should be condemned - losing Aaron wasnt one of them

Even Parko supports Jack on this one

Aaron was a beauty - encouraged the young stkilda players to take a pay cut to keep the list together but WOULDNT take one himself -

He pursued his self interest as he values it. Everyone does it he was just far more ruthless in pursuing it.

Apparently the travelling Fev show is moving to Bacchus Marsh!
Wonder how much coin he's attracting?

Agree ANC just needs to admit it rather than try to justify move with half truths -Goddard is trying the same method at the moment and would be better simply saying real difference is $800 K at Essendon* v $700 K at St Kilda

It's a business.

I don't really care about his reasons for leaving.

Money?

Fine.

Some are willing to make financial sacrifices and some aren't.

He sacrificed the sort of adulation that comes from being a one club player.

I just don't understand why people hold this sort of thing against players.

I don't care if players change clubs for money, hell I'd jump ship for a 20% payrise too, I just don't like it when they bullshit about it.

Well you can't give him the same accolades as a one club player.

Like I said he doesn't have his name on a locker at either club - although I can't be too sure about St. Kilda, probably 3 games in the reserves, taking a leak in the social club rooms, having a lemon rinse, and comparing the size of your wang is enough to get to get you a bronze statue and made an immortal of your club.

The bottom of this article gives an update of what our 2004 team players are up to these days.
