I know your stance Doc!
I am starting to agree with you too.
Has taken me a while to see the light.

How could you possibly be participating in dry July at a time like this? How long have you been sober?

I'd love to see Ratten's pre game pep talk against the Pies on Blue Print next week - will ask the club.

Mark Maclure is ok...but after the St.Kilda game he said that Jordan Russell shouldn't play again, and now he wants to play him against Collingwood.

Also said that Warnock, when fit and strong, is equal with the best of them.

Don't think so.

Got an invite without signing up for tomorrow's session...unfortunately I'm not able to do it. I would have swung things around had it been Greg Swann, but aside from the fact I can't do it, I don't have anything to ask Andy McKay that can be answered in a public forum.

I'm interested in why he decided not to practice as a vet, and went into football admin instead. But not enough to ask him on a forum.

These things are a nice initiative, but of limited interest when you know they can't/won't talk about the stuff you really want to know. Like "Andy, you've had a year there now. Have you concluded that our woeful lack of quality young AFL-ready players in the system is due to poor recruiting, poor development, or a bit of both?"

Actually he wasn't bad. When Maher asked him who the next couple to come in were, though, he just talked about how Bootsma gad had a good run but got tired. I assumed that there wasn't anybody knocking the door down. Then he mentioned in the follow up show how they are looking at Bell because of what he is doing in the NB atm.

Sorry, he also mentioned he is in footy because it is such an exciting and ruthless game (business-wise).

Good episode on the hangout this week. Luca doing a superb job with that...maybe he could get his boss on there? That'd be a hoot and a half.

His reasoning for sending Henderson back after admitting he was doing well early was poor. Sellers told him he was moved after 15-16 minutes but McKay didn't have an answer! :banghead:

McKay also said that Ratten had been bugging him for a while to come on board? So Ratten appoints his boss? Also, I thought Swann or Sticks said that they looked at several people and McKay was the best?

Can anyone answer for me what actually happened? :?

I know some think the club is still in the dark ages in regards to communications and supporter interaction however I for one think the blueprint and the hangout are fantastic. Well done to all involved in these initiatives.

Perhaps next season we can get it on fox footy? That's the logical next step for mine.

Enjoyed watching today. Hangout is good and the type of interaction we should have more of.
