I don't know how we will kick goals against the WCE defence.

Wouldn't drop Garlett for a Subi game, reckon he's due to turn it on.

Carrazzo for Garlett. Would have loved to play him over there, but he's just shot to pieces mentally at the moment.

Thornton for Warnock if he's not right.

Posted this elsewhere, Alan Richardson was the channel 10 news and said that Carrots was close to playing last night. Mentioned that Carrots will play next week, i guess an assistant coach saying this on the news is a reliable source.

What is the story with Warnock? Ratten is quoted as saying he had a tight hip and he thinks he will be right for next week. Funny i could have sworn i saw him with a huge ice pack on his thigh.

Since some posters have been wrong about Maclean Bootsma and Watson

Maybe we should bring in Fat Arse for this game to see how he goes

Carrots is a fumbler when he returns from injury. His concentration and discipline will be a much welcome return though

Who's Fat Arse?

What is the reason for this game being on a Thursday? There are bugger all other games on and there's no public holiday on the Friday.

No way Garlett will be dropped. He was unlucky not have kicked 2-3 goals against Geelong and his forward pressure and tackling were right up there with his best for the season.

If Carrazzo is right to go he comes straight back in for Joesph or Collins.

Ignorance! The MC had 3 choices this week in regards to Yarran:

1) dont start him as the sub - plays atleast 3 quarters, but isnt fully match fit so may not run out the quarters too well = potential liability

2) dont play him - Not 100% fit for AFL level so perhaps giving him a game in the 2's will help - BUT THE BULLANTS HAVE A BYE!!!!

3) start him as a sub - plays a quarter and a bit at full pace - at least gets some run in the legs and will be better for it....

Clearly the best option for the team was 3! People need to start looking at the bigger picture! I have my issues with Ratten and the MC too, but seriously we are becoming hysterical!

Option 4 start him and leave him in the forward line.
We have been struggling in the forward line and have our defenders back.
He would have burnt off the Geelong backline whith the other two.

That's hardly the point. I'd like to hear how the AFL justifies this scheduling. Why is there a game on a Thursday night in R12 anyway, FFS!

:banghead:

Thursday ... ???? ... Well Flower Me -- It is too. WTF!!!!
What is it with our club and playing games on stupid days at stupid grounds.

(I'm old school -- Sat. arvo at the 'G every week would do me).
