Channel 7 must have overlooked the first half to award Simmo MOM

Don't get this not playing 4 quarters talk, we don't play a static opposition. They challenged, we were good enough to he firm.

They won't lose too many at home this year.

For which team?

He was very good for Freo in the first half and the Blues in the second...

Won a game not played on our terms. Very happy.

Wouldn't be worried about the fade out. 5 changes, tough game, warm conditions, it's still April!

Loved Walks and Henderson's game. JR considering his rough patch was solid, Robinson and Simpson good 2nd halves.

Duigan a little fumbly early. Garlett just 'doing enough'. Need to work on kicking in the forward 50.

4-1 going into GWS is huge. 2 interstate trips down.

I'm at work. Worth watching the replay?

Eddie Betts is adorable.

What do you get for the MOM award? A gift pack of vitamins?

solid win

I won't get too carried away. Didn't think our lesser players had good games. I thought Tuohy and Duigan were ordinary.

However winning in Perth is hard. So well done boys.

Actually you're right we worked through their shitty shut down football in the first half and made them pay for it in the third - we did tire in the last quarter.

It is a huge win.

In the rooms tonight:-)
I feel like a tadpol in a room full of frogs!

We need to be more like TOADS!!!
It was a great win over here. Can't not appreciate our endever.
We need to show we are the real deal and back it up with a powerful display
next week.
We did play with the ball a bit too much in the last to make the score line look
Flattering to them.
Well done Blue Baggers!
It was a good night to keeP my son up ;-)

I thought Tuohy and AJ hardly gave Pearce and Ballantyne a sniff

Just ignore the yellow muppets, and those in the commentary

Great win. Load up on training now and get fired up for the next month.

Great coaching this week. Really adjusted the gameplan to engage in their silly game and came out big winners.

Gibbs set us up early out of the back half and from there others lifted and we got a pretty even team effort.

Could see blokes tiring late in the third. After robbo's goal in the last there were carlton players blowing up everywhere.

The heat and the extra day gave freo the legs to finish faster but they were not as good as us once there tactics were evened out by us.

Never felt comfortable as I was worried about the temperature and humidity late in the game. Looked out to it late in the game but given it was 27 and humid at the start of the game the late fade out wasn't a surprise. Just good to at least play well enough to get 5 goals in front at one stage then, in the end, take the points.

Hendo was our best
Betts got us moving with his efforts on the ball in the 1/3rd
Walker just adds to the team
Armfield must be knacked chasing Hill all night
Jamo 2nd half was better
Foot skills have improved
Gibbs terrific in the first half
Robbo wears his heart on his sleeve
Despite my doubts Joseph kept Ballatyne reasonably quiet

Still making some dumb decisions

Solid win, four points, head home etc.

Tough little stretch there, with the Pies, Bomberes and Freo away in the rear view mirror. Would have loved a better effort last week, but all things considered we've set up the next few weeks of our season nicely.
