Tigers have cleaned out their player development and have plenty of coin to throw at Craig.

"Senior Assistant", what is next, Supreme Uber Assitant 2000? Is that how you put a positive spin on getting sacked and being offered a junior job, kind of like 'Rightsizing' instead of 'sackings'.

Ratts was asked about Richardson a couple of weeks ago in terms of being approached for one of the senior gigs and said he highly doubted richardson would move, was happy at Carlton an that the club was rapted with him. Sounded as if Richardson was as far from being 'on the outer' as you could be.

It aint broke so dont fix it, we dont need another hand on the wheel, the only thing Craig developed at the Crows was a habit of losing.
Alienated some players like Taylor Walker and I think he is overated.
If Richardson or Riley left then fine consider him for their roles but this Director of coaching stuff is BS in my opinion...Ratten doesnt need his hand held and I dont want Craig as the next Carlton coach either if he is some fallback position if we stumble next year.

I'm with you Punter. all I've heard is that he and Brownie have been sensational.

What would a Director of Coaching actually do if that's what role he gets?

Well, according to Carltn70, he would
Quote:
....compliment the talent that we have amassed in the box

So, basically, on match day, Craigy would go "You're a good bloke Richo. You look nice today Brownie. Nice hair Ratts"..... etc, etc
