I go for this - even if Kruezer's ok.
The kid's good, but he's struggled the past couple of months.

Who for sub though?

Yep...only change that will be made.

Sub will go according to matchups.

Kruezer? Sounds like he might be ready as well.
O'hAilpin should be sub for mine.

Completely different defence facing the weagles.

Last time there was no Duigan, no Laidler and no Joseph. All now fit and in form.

Jamo went down in just the second qtr of that game.

It was Hendos first game in defence. He's now up and flying back down there now.

Round 14 was the blues playing with no defence.

Add to that the wide open spaces of PS and we're every chance. Go Blues!!

Doc Larkins said on MMM that Kreuzer risks the cyst re-filling with fluid every time he runs. Indicated he was little chance of playing.

They could do with Hampsons leap against Nicnat. Don't risk Kruezer Cakton.

Hampson simply has to be picked, no way Setanta can take on Cox & NicNat in the ruck

We have Hammer, Setanta and Warnock all fit and firing... no need to risk playing Kreuzer.

As others have said, we have 4 players that either didn't play or had limited time in defence the last time we met.

They smashed us in the midfield and that's where this game will be won come Saturday night.

I am a Perth based Carlton member. I only have one membership but would like to take my family to the game. If any one could PM me 2 x barcodes I would really appreciate it.

Thanks if anyone can help.

No way anyone not match fit can take on Cox & NicNat in the ruck, yes I saw he kicked four goals in the final quarter in the Ants while standing at FF but that does not mean he is match fit. Glad to be proven wrong by someone who saw the full Ants match but I'd rather a fully fit Setanta to a half fit Hampson in a final.

We'll be underdogs for sure, and the pressure will be on them, especially given our previous game against them. But a BF poster put things into perspective:
Quote:
Last time round, we went in with:
- a debutant (O'Keefe)
- a KPD playing his first and only game in two seasons (Austin)
- a guy playing his second game in a season (Houlihan)
- a ruckman who hadn't played in 6 weeks (Warnock)
- our other ruckman playing his 3rd game in a year (Kreuzer)
- an Irishman in his fourth game of footy (Tuohy)
- our best KPP playing just the one quarter (Jamison)
- our 2nd best KPD playing his 3rd game at AFL level in 3 months, up forward (Henderson)

Plus no Laidler or Duigan. It's a far different ballgame this time around. We can win this.

West Coast rucks won't be as damaging this week. NicNat has badly bruised legs and Cox has that back spasm to contend with.

Did he mention they were ganglions? Or any method of long term treatment?

I think we were undermanned last time we played West Coast especially down in defense. Plus we hate playing at Etihad, so Patersons Stadium will suit us.

Definitely bring in Hampson after kicking 6 goals with the Bullants, at least so we can combat Natanui & Cox. Setanta is not a ruckman.

Game on against the Eagles, we are a real good chance to knock these pricks off!

Max: 22. Showers, increasing later.

Might suit us?

Not surprised, did anyone notice Leigh Browns "rucking" attempts?

Nic Nat is lucky he can walk.

Really find it difficult to consider the changes for this game.

Obviously we look at their talls as being their major strength so that's the only thing we might change based on match ups.

Big knockers played his best game for the club today so we definitely keep him.

Thornton also possibly played his best game for the club so we keep him.

Setanta I feel brings a lot to the table in his competitiveness and versatility so I want him in my side.

I really don't see a place for Kreuzer given his current health and form. I love the man but I think it might be best to cotton wool him for next year.

Hammer has obviously put up his hand with his VFL performance today and given that Cox and Natainui are so dominant it would be logical to try to combat that with an extra ruckman. Still, I don't know if I'd make that change.

I can really see an argument for bringing in Hammer for Davies but I would also understand if they brought in Lucas for Davies, or simply go in unchanged. Obviously this is pending Gibbs and Laidler's availability.

We can win this Blues. Believe!

Davey Ellard might be in trouble holding his spot, his game was only so-so and he isn't the fastest around . If we want more pace he could go for Tuohy, Russell or even Bower, all of whom bring more pace, size, versatility and penetration in disposal. Davies I think gone for Hammer or Kreuzer if his foot is right. No obvious match-up for Joseph unless Kerr comes back, but probably keep him, been playing well.
