So club members go on sale Monday, general public on Tuesday.

Anyone know if AFL with club support is available from Monday?

Hmmm...not sure which part Mr Rhino is referring to, but if it is my point about club support members, although it was strictly in reference to buying finals tickets.

Although I can only say that in my experience I have never been treated differently by the club as an AFL member with club support. Others my have different experiences.

Yep, thanks for clearing that up. I read that article, and also the brochure sent out during the week, and am at a bit of a loss. Outside of waiting on hold for 20 minutes to them, this will do me.

Thanks. Shall queue up on Monday too.

As an AFL club support member you can buy tickets from either allocation. The AFL allocation on Tuesday will get you into the AFL members reserve, while the general members on Monday will get you in various spots all over the ground.

Are there any updates from last week regarding whether or not members can purchase tickets for non-members and are the quoted prices in the brochure same for non-members?

If you go the MCG website is says that members can purchase 2 tickets per membership with a limit of 8 per transaction.

thanks. could you send me the link please?

all i could find was:

"Members may have access to purchase additional tickets during the first three weeks of the finals for friends who wish to attend the game with you. The quantity of additional tickets is subject to the teams and venues, please refer to your member emails or check afl.com.au/finalstickets for updates prior to tickets going on sale.

A maximum of eight (8) tickets per transaction applies when purchasing tickets with all member tickets purchased requiring an eligible membership barcode (or relevant membership identifier for NSW Sydney members)"

So im a bit confused as to whether the additional tickets you purchase have to be for members or if they include non-members as well. It's a bit vague when it says "friends" but doesn't specify if they have to be members or not and then also says all member tickets purchased require membership barcode.

I'm thinking the most likely scenario is you can buy 2 tickets per membership so 1 for that member and 1 extra for a non member and for every member ticket you require the barcode but there's been plenty of times they're interpretations have had me lost.

go to www.mcg.org.au
click onto Carlton V Essendon* Elimination final and the information is there.

So as a carlton member am i considered a 'competing club member'? in that case it seems i can get 1 ticket for a non-member which isnt too bad

Why isn't it possible to choose Olympic Stand Prime tickets, instead of just either one. This is just frustrating...

"Thankyou for calling Ticketek"

"Sorry I didn't understand you"

"Your calling during a period of high demand"

"etc"

"Goodbye"

Also got N15 which I'm happy with....the $5.10 charge for EzyTicket which you print yourself was a bit steep I thought!!
