I just had a look on the ticketmaster site. I purchased tickets last week for level one. Today i clicked on club members and put in some barcodes that i hadnt used previously and it allowed me to purchase more reserved seats on level one.
So in summary, there are still reserved seats on level one for club members. Get in quick.
Not sure why ticketmaster are saying it is a sell out because its not.

It means that the first few rows of level 3 are pre sold.

That's the case for all our games at Jihad... to my knowledge, we have not had a fully ticketed game there.

But if big fully ticketed soccer fixtures at this venue are to go by, then level 3 should be allocated seating ie. general admission price plus booking fee.

Yeah this was the case a few years ago when they made our dome game against the cats fully ticketed. added $12 to the price of a GA ticket.

I had to reserve my seats in L3.

My dad and I are Silver Members and my girlfriend isn't. Is it possible to buy tickets together?

When i purchased mine, i am a silver member, it gave me the option to get extra seats after i put in the barcodes. So the answer is yes.

Just got this email. Read on if you're a silver member.

Quote:
Our Round 22 home game against Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium will be a "designated seat match" and therefore entry to the ground will require a reserved seat ticket; there will be no general admission available for this game. This is similar to our Round 17 home game against Collingwood at the MCG in July.

The Club, in conjunction with Etihad Stadium, has made available an exclusive Silver members reserved seating area for this match. As a general admission Silver member you have the opportunity to upgrade to a reserved seat in this Silver members seating area at Etihad Stadium. This is located on Level 3 between Aisle 35 to Aisle 38, Rows G - X.

This area will not be available as walk-up as per previous home matches at Etihad Stadium – it will be a reserved seat area only.

Reserved seat tickets in this exclusive Silver members seating area for this Round 22 home game will go on sale at 9:00am Friday 5th August through Ticketmaster and will be available until this area is sold out.

Tickets in this area, exclusive for Carlton Silver Members, will not go on sale prior to this date.

Reserved seat prices for our Silver members seating area (Level 3 between Aisle 35 to Aisle 38 Rows G - X) are:
Adult/Concession member - $3.95
Junior member - $1.35

Tickets in this area will only be available for sale to Carlton Silver Members, there are no general public reserved seats available in this area and no guest passes.

To reserve your seat for this match, and guarantee entry to the game, purchase your tickets through Ticketmaster on 1300 136 122, at any Ticketmaster outlet or Click Here to purchase online (transaction fees apply). Tickets go on sale at 9:00am Friday 5th August.

All ticketing for matches at Etihad Stadium is managed by Ticketmaster, please do not contact the Club to purchase a guest pass ticket as they are not available for sale through the Club for this match.

Does anyone know if you can buy a standing room ticket for this game? I want to stand behind the social club reserved seats area (the season reserved), cos thats where my nan sits.

I think its bullshit anyway. I buy a social club membership so i can rock into the game and find a seat with the rest of the social club members. That area should not be a reserved seat area. If you cant organise yourself to be at the game in plenty of time to get a seat then its your own bad luck.

And they should move the game to the MCG.

The AFL really shit me.

So I see another promise from Collo/Demefroot "all blockbuster games to be moved to the MCG to accomodate big crowds" completely ignored. Yep shafted and only one big loser here!

How many games have been moved under the AFL's alleged "best fit" policy....?

Interesting that we are playing Melbourne at the G this week and the Dawks at Etihad. You would of thought doing the opposite, Dawks at the G and Melbourne at Etihad.

Melb need the bigger spaces so there's less chance of running into each other.

I couldn't work out how to purchase in the special Carlton Silver member area online and was on hold on the phone for 35 mins and gave up.

I logged on and managed to find a front row Level 1 ticket which is probably worth the extra $20 anyway.

I agree with those calling this a farce. As an AFL Member I'm fortunate to take out a dining package which includes premium seats, but there are so many people missing out. This game would attract 70,000 if at the MCG.

The AFL are a bunch of muppets with no regard for the viewer. No wonder their crowds are the lowest in 5 years. They stuffed it up.

First time as Carlton Club Support AFL Member that I have never been able to get a ticket to go to the Football.

AFL Members have been given the right royal shaft on this big time by the AFL.

The AFL conned AFL Members by selling Waverley (90,000 capacity) and replacing it with a 55,000 boutique stadium and then making promises about scheduling matches for best fit.

What's worse they sold off Level 2 at Docklands to "Medallion Club" and when they couldnt sell those packages they threw 5000 AFL Member seats out of the AFL Member reserve at the MCG so they could throw in MCG Access to Medallion Club Members so they could make the Medallion Club attractive enough to sell.

Pretty funny that they only way they could sell Medallion Club Packages at Dockland Stadium was to throw in access to the MCG and Grand Final.

AFL Members have been dudded twice over. Very Very Angry about this.... because the bullshit and lies that Wayne Jackson and Ron Evans spun with the sale of Waverley adn the development of Docklands has been finally come home to roost.

And the able brown nosing lieutentant Demetrispew has screwed us all over again.
