I doubt you will see him in the ones this year. The club are easing him into it. He still gets a weeks rest every 3 similar to McCarthy. He has a lot to learn.

In particular about giving and receiving body contact.

He was ineffectual.

He isnt an inside mid and didnt get enough of the ball as a release/link player . 12 possessions just isnt enough from someone who is part of the midfield rotation.

Imo, he shouldnt of played due to heavy concussion last week. I seem to recall a few years back that players had to automagically miss a week if they were knocked out?

Which is even more reason why Carazzo needed to step up and Gibbs play in the middle.

Carazzo has had a really good month, but he was shocking yesterday. I don't know why he wasn't sent to Kerr for the whole game

Not sure if Gibbs to the middle would have helped Whistler. He is not that good in the midfield unless he has a runwith type role. Could have put him on Kerr perhaps.
