Would be nice to lead the way again, for a change.

I'd have an 8th position.

8. VP Football Operations

As that is the core business.

Big Footy is at it again - Friday - 2 weeks time, this time.

Whether he should or he shouldn't go, I feel for the poor guy putting up with this crap week after week.

He has put his heart and soul into this club, worked tirelessly and he deserves better than constant rumour and inuendo.

I hope that "if" Sticks leaves it's on good terms and all is well between club and club champion, else I won't be happy at all.

Agree Board is too large and needs to be refreshed - needs a mechanism where members who have been on for ages are rotated off -club also needs mechanism like other clubs where young talent is identified and next in line is not merely someone who is a loud noise out of a certain coterie group - other clubs have various mechanisms ours seem to be very archaic and ad hoc

I can just imagine Kernahan poring over BF with the stress lines deepening on his face.

Not.

Sightly off topic, todays paper reports the salaries of the heads of the Water Boards. I see a familar name, Michael Malouf. I am guessing it is the same but i thought he was working at Visy.

Dick Pratt gave MM a job at Pratt Holdings when he left Carlton. He was in that gig about 3 months before he became Managing Director of Barwon Water. Is doing alright for himself if he's earning around $375k as reported. Good luck to him.

 ...yeah... let's feel for the guy who has presided over the reformation of the Elliott style 'boys club' that dodges elections and appoints new members only they deem 'worthy'... nahhhh

Get down to the meeting and speak your mind Budzy. Not sure bombarding this fansite with your issues with the club is doing too much.
If your ideas are any good others will follow and you will get your way.

Couldn't agree more if people are so disenchanted with how the club is going then do something about it. Put a ticket together or at least put your issues to the club rather than bitch on here.
