Just trying to buy tickets now and you need to quote the barcode number on the back of your membership card. I have a Silver Adult 11 membership and it is letting me buy a ticket. It looks like you can only buy a ticket for each barcode number you enter. Just need to get mrs camel's barcode number now, haha...

cool thats what i was expecting. I'm heading up with my old man who is a non member so i'll have to wait to tomorrow and buy two Gen Admin tickets so we can sit together.
Kinda works out well that I get to see my first live Carlton final with my old man on Father Day - who's got me supporting carlton in the first place. really looking forward to it.

Train travel will be free with your ticket and there will be direct trains from Central station to Homebush. It actually is very easy and only around 30 minutes. Trains coming back to town will be packed but they run out of the stadium regularly, and well.

I'll see what the NSW supporters thingo are doing as it may be suitable to meet for lunch around 11:30am near Central before heading out.

Don't worry CK I'm also on a 7.15pm flight, we can panic together. I figure worst case scenario I go to the taxi rank and find others also pressed for time and share a taxi.

Getting into Sydney about 11am on Sunday with a couple of others. Apparently there is plans for a meetup pre-game somewhere nearby.

Where are people's tickets? ours are bay 142 behind goals.

I couldn't find a flight for under $180 to come home on the Sunday.

Dad and I will be about 3 rows behind you Camel. Was overseas for the final last year so may be just a little excited. We are on the 715pm flight home too. Sounds like it will be an empty plane if none of us make it!

after reading this on the carlton website i though id had actually better try and buy some tickets with my membership and as it turns out it looks as though i could buy 3 adult tickets with my single barcode.

"Carlton Members can purchase tickets from 9:00am on Monday August 30th
Members can purchase a maximum of 4 tickets per membership with a maximum of 8 tickets in any given transaction

General Public sales commence at midday on Tuesday August 31st
"

I just went best available and it came up with some budget caterory seats behind the goals. So perhaps your level of membership dictates what level seats you have access too using your membership?
I was a silver long distance member this season.

so im in here:
Category: Budget
Section: 142-1
Row: 18
Seat/s: 41-42

planning on making lots of noise!

bloody pumped for this already!

Those of us on the 7.15 flight, Bondi Mattress assures me it will be no problem making it. However if it looks diabolical, happy to meet up & split a cab straight from the ground to the airport together.

In the true spirit of KK, PM me & I’ll PM you my number

Also KK & I are looking at pub options for a prematch get together. Perhaps The Brewery at Novitel?

Also GIBBS

I'm assuming that's a return ticket?

Last time I went we got flogged by 10 goals+, it rained and our seats weren't undercover.

Aside from that, it's not too bad.

i've been twice.

I thought it felt very sterile and fake to be honest.

it's hard being in such a big stadium when it feels empty.

the first game was wiz cup so only 6000 people. next was 2003 round 1, about 35,000. still felt empty.

have a feeling this is going to get a pretty good turn out, and being a final hopefully the atmosphere goes up a few levels.

from memory it seems a pretty shallow stadium, so if you are in row z you are miles and mile away unlike the dome or G where the stands are a bit steeper.
