Sure............ that'll work! Lets try that,,...................

Oh Wait! We DID try that!..............

No, i didnt.

All I said was that your post was a bit harsh and aggressively directed to somebody who just wants to discuss the game. This has been happening far to often on this site and im starting to get a bit frustrated by it.

Everybody on this site has a right to an opinion.................whatever that opinion may be.

No need to be harsh on him. I actually kind of aggree with him. We had nobody tonight that even looked like a chance of stepping up and being a match winner.

But if we just moved them to a different part of the ground then they would have just turned into match winners?

Errr........... When did i say that?

Moving on...was it just me or do Geelong have a lot of decrepit old bag supporters...nearly every Geelong supporter around me was at least 70.

Bower seems to have lost poise and strength -I like him but isnt playing as well as earlier in the season

That was my question as well. Why as Bower so weak? He's in his what, 5th season? He couldn't win a contest against Gillard at the moment.

My other question was why didn't anyone put Podsiadlly on the deck after the cheap shot on Gibbs? Weak as piss. We need a team rule about that. Something like anything up to a 4 week suspension is acceptable, and you go straight back in the side.

Plenty of positives for me. I was expecting a ten goal loss, but for all of 15mins we were in the contest.

Davies looks like a great pickup, although he will get exposed on players with pace. Something to work on.

Robbo was Robbo. The kid will iron out the mistakes the more plays.

Sauce was the better ruck man on the night, Warnock a bit quieter tonight.

Betts and Bower are struggling, Walker must have a Teflon grip when tackling.

Ellard will be a ripper in the next few years.

Well I'm in WA and they kept going to the crowd on telly and there they were.

Errgghh oldies, felt like they were in the room with you, yuk.

They do that two handed praying clap and go yay!!!. Makes me want to puke, they look like Eagle supporters.

Was Warnock ill? Sure I read one of you guys saying he was sick on the field pre-game.

My positives

- Henderson. Pretty good game, is leading really well. Needs to stop playing on though!
- Murph. Good game for his 100th
- Gibbs. Beaten earlier but was pretty solid on hb.
- Simpson as usual

Anyone see Waite get pole axed and the ump turn a blind eye? yet Golden Boy got gifted one 25m out directly in front for Carrots brushing his arm

And special mention to JR I reckon for bouncing back after the early stages of the game on Johnson....

There was one particular contest (late in the 3rd I think) where you could see that Henderson had hit the wall, as he did in the second half last week. Another pre-season and improved tank is all he needs to continue his improvement. Set shot kicking has imrpoved as well. Doesn't look like missing now.

A lot of fingers being pointed at Garlett tonight, but it was the likes of Hadley, Walker, Betts and Bower who have a lot more experience that should shoulder more blame. Ellard, Robinson, Grigg and Armfield for all their endeavour were also sloppy with disposal and decision making.

Each Geelong player has 60 games and 3 years age difference on our boys. Whilst youth is sometimes a cop-out, I'd hope in 3 years time that we'd be able to improve our bottom half dozen or so to a level near theirs.

I will cut Jeffy some slack tonight because he had 2 really good games the last 2 weeks, we were playing Geelong and he has played like 20 senior games. He also seemed to be receiving some treatment on the bench early on in the game.

Some good points.... we did look like we ran out puff in the last....hence some errors going inside 50....although our forward 50 entries still need heaps of work structurally speaking....

I reckon Geelong, Norf and the Eagles have the oldest supporters.

honestly this one old bag near me kept tut tutting every time I'd yell something out. I try and keep it PG when at the games and just generally barrack (AARRGGGH/YAAAAAAY/COME ON/WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR YOU SPUD) but this old fart clearly wanted her peace and quiet. Stay the @#$%&! home then.

As Bower was being taken deep and exploited for strength more support from a ruckman might have worked.

Gibbs to Abblett when Gary started to get on the scoreboard was another possibility.

OK to summarise the next 24 hrs

After 2 big wins the TC boards have been quiet to the point of shutting down. So to save everyone the time and effort, I have compiled a less than defintive whinge list of the ill educated.

Ratten - Has complete control of his team on the ground and should be a Richmond/Essendon* scapegoat.
Sticks - too many Tammy Wynette songs to be president
Whitnall - too lean
Judd - should not have traded Kennedy. Bad trade
Henderson - should never have got rid of Fevola.
Fevola - we would have been at least a ten goal better team if he played tonight
Gibbs - too soft but is playing the wrong role because of Illinois Nazis
Joseph - not up to it - should have held Johnson scoreless
Fisher - easily to blame for the loss
Murphy - tried hard - but we should have recruited better
Scotland - No Ireland
Carazzo - Too many soft touches and didnt stop the best player in the league
Warnock - Seaby would have been better
Walker - cant kick so is not up to it
Waite - not as good as his dad
Betts, Garlett - needed Yarran in the side
Armfield - well what do you expect from a Rugy Union reject
Bower - delivery into the forward line was far too swift - he is not good enough
Jamo - destroyed Mooney - but that is like being the star student of a "special" school.
Sauce - has red hair
Grigg - disposal is acceptable at Goldcoast.
Hampson - not enough marks tonight
Robinson - doesnt go in hard enough
Ellard - not enough possession - career over.
Camporeale - still gay

Am I forgetting something?

Thats good. Its something at least. Its funny that people say Gibbs is wasted playing in defence and now you're suggesting he be moved on to Ablett.

Its one thing to come here and say we made no match winning moves, its another to actually come up with some suggestions. We have the same people come on each week repeating themselves, never have solutions or tell us what they'd do though.

Even when pressed on it they have nothing.

It's just a shame we made no match winning moves.
