Ratten must be replaced asap if we don't want to have to rebuild and wait 8 years to be decent (due to draft concessions given to GC and GWS). How we can't flood their fwd line and then rebound, as they and other average teams do to us every week is just mind-boggling. How an AFL coach cannot inspire his troops at least once in a month to the mere basics of AFL footy such as attck the footy and stick tackles, and support your man, and hunt in numbers is STAGGERING.

Sticks must be sacked for approving the Ratten contract extension mid-season :screwy: :hitcomputer: :hitcomputer: :banghead: :banghead:

Get Chocco, and the longer we wait, the greater chance that Bummers will snaffle him.

Expose as many kids as we can for the rest of the season. Finals are now out of the question, so why not play Davies, Ellard, Casboult. Christ we could even play our highly paid 206cm Bullants ruckman.

The Carrazo's of this world must be punished for lack of endeavour, so its a month in the red for him. We also are so lacking in leadership, in fact we may have turned a potential great leader in Judd into a.......well I'm not sure what he is at the moment :banghead: :banghead:

But the buck stops with the coach. Disgraceful.

If you want the tactics described in your first paragraph i dont think Choco is your man.

agree with the Judd comment, the poor bloke had to do it on his own for most of the game! we were sitting on the fence next to the interchange, and the amount of times he came off looking frustrated / angry and then disappointed with the turnovers he was watching was actually sad to watch. we are gonna put that bloke into early retirement....

Hardwick is a short lived love story. You'll see.

See that exact response is exactly whats wrong with this bloody club!!!! anyone who didn't play for Carlton is a spud

Damien Hardwick breathes success. He is a two time premiership player, coached under Williams and Clarkson, won a premierships at the hawks as a coach. All his assistants have had premiership success and the guy is a spud!!!

the sad part in all of this is just say Ratten was removed tomorrow who the bloody out of Rattens crew could step up and coach the side???? NO ONE!!!!!

Fair point you make there aido. Says it all.

But the end of season 'review' concluded that everything was OK - top coaching panel.

Don't go and put words into my mouth you little lying cauliflower. All I said was the Hardwicks' time in the sun is shortlived. As soon as there is expectation - that list, and his coaching methodology will suffer.

What makes me sick is to hear Robert Walls in One week at a time say Carlton supporters should settle down with the sack Ratten calls. He reasoning is we are a young with a young coach

A YOUNG SIDE MY A R S E ROBERT WALLS

SENIOR players over the age 25 or older

Walker
Simpson
McClean
Carrazzo
Waite
Thornton
Judd
Houilihan
Hadley
Scottland

There is enough senior experience there to avoid such performances

Yet the Bombers are under the pump who are the second youngest side and had two players over 25 playing last night, McVeigh and Fletcher

Matthews and Roos have already been sounded out but told Carlton they aren't interested.

Typical of the old Carlton though to just think throwing some cash around will solve all of our problems.

Didn't think much of it but Tim Gossage (yes I know.....just hear me out) mentioned on Perth breakfast radio this week that there is strong rumblings that Judd is seriously unhappy at the Blues.

Thought it was just BS and scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit. However the way we are travelling it does make you wonder. We are certainly playing like there are deep internal divisions.

Fair enough but what im trying to say when ever a name is suggested or someone outside of Carlton has something to say about our club you get the 'They are a spud' comment.

I feel like the best thing may be a complete spill of the Carlton coaching panel, but we need a caretaker - let that be Robert Harvey, removes the emotion behind finding someone else even if he does snag some wins for the year. I can't see us winning any of the next 4.

The players seem disinterested, and that can only be due no confidence in the coaches

Choco may be ok, but I think he will take some time out before coming back, he seems to have lost his passion

My issue with the team is half of those guys are no good. Thats why houla gets a game. He can do a job 60% of the time which is a step up from alot of the others. Waite, Simpson, Judd and Walker are the only ones there worth noting.

We are a young team. Statistics prove it. We put out one of the youngest team this weekend. No excuse just pointing it out.

Ratts needs to coach like he played.

With more conviction.

No More I s'pose, Probably and maybe in every second sentence.

Anyone out there a teacher? Imagine you stand in front of a class and say "I s'pose, Probably, maybe "

Imagoine Gillard or Abbott say to you "I s'pose, Probably, maybe"

Ouch!
