I remember another post somewhere saying that Ratts will play Levi and Josh?
Does that sound right?

Would love to see Rhys get a run too

Thats what Ratts said last week, that both Donaldson, Casboult and maybe White may play.

I do hope Kerr plays as well, cant wait to see him play :smoking:

I would be resting Gibbs, Judd, Jammo and Bower this week I reckon.

I agree, jamo and bower are so important to us right now, not worth risking them.

It sounds like the plan is to rest as many senior players as possible, while giving Armfield, Waite & Murphy a run. I expect we'll try to take three ruckmen over, giving Warnock a half-game if possible.

Away from that, O'hAilpin, Houlihan, Betts, Walker, Grigg, Simpson & Garlett all need more game time to build their fitness, while I think Judd needs to play this game and kept out of our final pre-season given he will be restricted to training & Bullants practice matches for the first three weeks of the season.

Hampson got a game in last week but should be getting a crack at a higher level, ditto Jacobs, who is a certainty after having a week off.

Johnson would be a good selection for this game, but I think he is under an injury cloud.

Possible line-up:

FB: Armfield White Dare
HB: Lucas Davies O'Keeffe
CC: Walker Murphy Simpson
HF: Kerr Casboult Houlihan
FF: Garlett Waite Betts

RR: Hampson Grigg Judd

Int: O'hAilpin Donaldson Jacobs Wiggins Cachia Tiller

EMG: Warnock Yarran Ellard

It's a bit tall, but I think we can rotate the forward line through the midfield (save for Casboult), with Tiller and Wiggins able to release guys like Armfield, Lucas & O'Keeffe further afield. Unsure on Cachia's status, so Yarran, who had a light match load last week, may come into the mix for him.

There's talk over here that the match may be rescheduled due to the weather forecast - might just start a bit later rather than 3pm.

Article in todays paper also saying how much Judd wants to play , that Murphy will play and Waite is undecided.

Also intimates some players will be rested.

Waite is so so important to this team, like never before.

He would make the forward line exciting I reckon.

There is our X factor right there and will compliment Hendo, Yarran & Robbo.

Cant wait until everyone is up and running.

I'd go a step further and call him our most important player.
