Perhaps instead of taking a pot shot on a forum, next game go over and introduce yourself and say hi.

I've spoken to Ross numerous times, and never once had he been rude nor have I ever heard him abuse players (be it Glenelg or Carlton)....

Mate it isnt a pot shot, sat near him numerous times and actually told him to cut it out in last years final.

Player managing 101 would tend to suggest we wont have much news for some time... Though, Bryce being the type of person he is, i can see him wanting to get it out of the way early so he can just concentrate on footy this season... He's certainly no Lake. I'd expect the news during the nab cup...

He (or his manager) could also be thinking that if he waits till mid-season, and has taken yet another step up in performance, then he could add another $100k to his pay packet.

his management would not be doing their job if they didn't use the gold coast to shake some more $ out of the CFC. I wouldn't expect it to be done till after the end of season 10.

If I was GC17 I would be targetting Kruezer ahead of Gibbs. Kruze is also out of contract at the end of next year. Not good planning by the club.

I'd like to see him re-signed in the next few months along with Kreuzer, Yarran, Austin, O'Keefe and Robinson who are also out of contract in October.
No doubt the media will ramp up the speculation if it starts to drag on.

Will this become the biggest thread in history or will it be over soon?

Maybe they will announce the contract extension as Gibbs is announced Australian of the year. :smoking:

We need some positive news out there and signing both Gibbs and Kruze to 3 years could be it. Look at all the negative tripe on the healines in the link below.

Don't know what cave I have been hiding in but I seemed to miss all these articles. Maybe I just choose to ignore.
