We will learn more from being challenged tonight than we would have if we had won by ten goals.

Obviously it would have been great to win by ten goals but the fact we were challenged and manged to win is a positive. We were not challenged last week and it's good for the young kids to understand that good teams generall win by playing 4 quarters.

Did you notice how tired the players were after the game, many just fell to the ground. They will learn from this, some will learn that playing AFL is not an easy caper. I'm sure Robbo will learn from this.

I somehow think Robbo's already figured this out

from I have seen Bower is much better on leading forwards rather than body/power forwards - the Lions have two power forwards and we got exposed with Jamo's absence

Pros:

Gibbs - Star. 91% efficiency for disposal, must put him in my Supercoach team next week before his value rockets.
Judd - 2nd quarter was freakish, for a guy who has had the flu all week
Murphy - Another great game, and his kicking for goal has improved dramatically
Kruezer - Great in the ruck, plays like a 200 game player with poise
Fev - Saved our bacon with two great goals at the end to kill off the Lions
Robinson - Quiet for 3 quarters then stood up in the last, 10 disposals and involved in key plays around the ground. GUN

Cons:

Jamos injury - We saw how quickly Bradshaw turned it on afterwards, hope its not serious
Garlett - I like him and see his potential, but his body is not ready yet and hes far too timid on the field
Russel - Too many turnovers in crucial moments of the game, should be dropped has had enough chances for mine.
3rd quarter fadeout
Bower on Bradshaw - He just couldnt match up on him, but to be fair its not his preffered role
Ray @#$%&! Chamberlain

I counted at least 3 in the last quarter when the game was on, all led to forward 50 entries for Brisbane, one or two of them led to goals.

I agree Cazz. His one or two mistakes are exagerated. There were others in the team to cause just as many if not more turnovers.

Pros
- Gibbs. A wonderfully gifted footballer
- good all round performance
- I'm glad we were challenged and had to fight it out.....hopefully this will ensure there will be no complacency against the Bumbers next week.

Cons
- Jamo's injury (and Walker's)
- Garlett is a great pickup however I'm not sure he is AFL ready yet

Pro: We have a great chance of heading to Sydney 3-0. No better time to beat the Swans than now!

A win up there would be great. There's a lot of untapped potential in the Sydney market.

I couldn't give two shits about Sydney right now. First and foremost I want those ****suckers from that shithole on Napier St bruised, humiliated and in the depths of despair. Only after savouring the sweet nectar of their tears would I then focus any attention on the Ducks.

Pros:
Hadley - I always hoped he'd turn out for us and BOY - did he ever!! I think Brisbane targeted him too - so in my eyes, an even better performance
Gibbs - I can add no more superlatives than you lot can... :)
Eddie - super form early on in the season...
T-Bird - very composed....
Jamo before injury....

Cons:
If anything - we don't seem to be able to completely shut off "Twin Towers" type forward lines - so we will have to outscore teams like Hawthorn and Brisbane if the teams are at full strength....
