fullmont & I went to the first bounce. I had to talk him into going as he wasn't on TBV at the time & I'd been trying to get him into it so we could meet people who go to the footy as well. We didn't meet anyone that night except for Bluegal (I think) & her husband who we see every week. We met CK the following day I think.

And what gezman said - check out the socials page when the pre season is on. We always meet up somewhere or do something - it's always great to meet TC'ers.

That's right Bluegirldaniele we did meet the night of the First Bounce and it is good seeing you at the footy every week. Bluedude and myself met Mrs Caz and Cazzesman that night, who we still chat to at various functions or the footy.

as i'm reading these posts, one thing stands out to me, as a newer member of TC, that being,

what happened to cause the demise of TBV? its got my curiosity up, as i didn't know these sites had been going for so long.

Essentially it was all dannyboy's fault.

I was a CSC man at the time, occasionally perusing TBV, but not really posting much. I just remember all of a sudden CSC being shut down as well because of the overload, then an emergency thread going out asking for money to expand the site due to the influx because TBV had closed down. It was by searching around trying to find out what had happened that i found my way to TC. Tc just felt right from then on
