At least we're definitely going to get those matches live on FTA here.

The FTA broadcasters love us again 8)

Great to see our GC game is Freo but when do we find out about our 'compensation' home game?

Melbourne will be in 100% full-throttle no-holds-barred tanking mode by R21, so it's a great time to play them.

Then a nice tough workout against an honest Adelaide outfit, to get our minds back on track as we head into our finals campaign.

It's the perfect end to the H&A season really.

We don't have a melbourne home game for 6 weeks straight from round 4 to round 9

plus the two interstate clubs i would love to play twice, we are playing once (port n weagles)

plus the easiest interstate club we are playing in vic (weagles)

plus we only play melbourne, port, dogs all once (teams we really match up good against)

Bit pissed-off our Gold Coast game was taken from the MCG, instead of Docklands.

So that's:

6 home games at docklands
4 at the G
1 at Carrara

Beat me to the punch John.

Seems no matter who the admin is, they all feed us a certain level of shit.

Whether we like it or not, our home ground currently is the concrete jungle  and Collo is lineing his pockets because of it.
The previous admin, as a group, should be  for letting him get away with it.

There's an "Overrated Softcock Showpony Round" now is there?

The AFL have shafted people with the Sydney game on being during the day on Saturday. Could have gone to the races beforehand and made a huuuuge day of it if the game was Sat night...

No, that would be called the "Dale Thomas" round.

It's all fantastic having a Thursday night match to start the season, but the reality is in "non-traditional" states, Saturday and Sunday afternoons are when people will want to be able to sit down and watch the footy on TV.

And what do we get for round 1?

No FTA in Sydney Sat arvo.

Thanks for f*&%ing nothing.

Our performances in Round 5 & 6 will really shape our year I reckon.

We should be in our prime physically and mentally for these 2 big games.

Nice to see we have quite a few 'big stage' games where our boys can get more used to the big occasions.

Got to be happy with this draw.
Playing Geelong, Hawthorn and a couple of our bogey teams in St Kilda and North Melb only once.
Quite happy to be playing Sydney and Adelaide twice as these are sides we should overtake next year.
Would have been nice to play Melbourne twice however but I guess we can't really complain.

Not great for memberships, only 4 home games in Melbourne in the first 14 rounds. Other than that not too bad a draw.

How very sad it is when we keep on having to refer to draws as favourable or unfavourable.

Looking forward to the day when a draw is fair.

A day that will probably never come.
