Definately not fully fit. It showed up more than ever Saturday. I played a lot years of football and never heard of playing through with injuries to fix them , but I know injuries are treated a lot differently now. I would rest him for a week or 2 .

the other relevant factor is we are Cox-less. Cox as a dominant ruckman could use Judd's acceleration around and through packs whereas we have a young ruck duo who arent winning that many taps. In that regard its not a bad year for Judd to be working through an injury as we wouldnt be able to use him properly...yet.

Judd's ground-level clearance work is phenomenal and its a wonder to see him at the bottom of packs yet you still know in the clear over 10 he would burn anyone off - what a great combination. Add some extra jets in the team in Walker and I think 2 others and we'll look very fast.

Judd's ground work reminds me of another Blue champion who had to become an inside mid as his career developed.

getting a bit worried over nothing his stats don't reflect anything to bad

02 15 disposals per game
03 18.2
04 21.8
05 22.3
06 25.9
07 23.0
08 23.2

So apart from 06 he has got his hands on the ball more than any other year

Might be expecting game breaking performances every week - it doessn't happen don't care who you are

He's obviously not 100% but flower me if he isn't still awesome. The number of times he manages to fight his arms free to dish off when wrapped up in a strong tackle is boggling.

Or is this just a sick prank by the AFL????........

Well yesterday has been the only time I have seen Judd miss set shots at our club, like that.

Can't wait for next season for a variety of reasons now!!!

Believe it or not and someone please correct me if im wrong, his first set shot at goal for carlton in the Richmond game where he went goaless on debut, was no more then 30m out... missed. 2nd .. missed. So I can safely say his set shot for goal is akin to that of a young Bradly Fisher

The Richmond game is not a great example to lay your hat on as he was playing just his second game back from a major groin injury...

To compare him to Fisher is laughable.....

Judd is in the elite bracket when it comes to anything related to football, let alone the disposal side of his game......

One thing I can guarantee you is that it's impossible to judge someone correctly on their kicking ability unless you yourself are in the elite bracket.

It's kind of like asking a back yarder about a problem you are having with your car....He might say if your injectors are a bit sluggish try some injector cleaner with your next tank of gas, that should do the trick.

You ask a qualified mechanic, who is switched on, and he will tell you to never ever use that crap as it will dislodge all the shite that's been stuck to the bottom of your sump for god knows how long and end up causing more damage down the track. You need to get your injectors pulled off and cleaned properly.........

Two vastly different opinions.......

I'd rest Judd. With Waitey and Judy out the team will lift

I think we should rest the entire seniors. Play the Bullants reserves side. With the whole team out, the other guys will definitely lift for the occasion. Malcolm Blight-esque.

Why do the players need to lift Melvey when your adamant that we going to get thrashed by Geelong?

I'd love to be able to rest Juddy, I think everyone would like to see it happen, but fact is we have the biggest test of the season coming up, he's our best player and he has to play if we are to be any chance.

I'd be surprised and dissapointed if he completes all the training this week though - he does look as if he needs to be nursed a bit. Maybe we can afford to rest him for a week in a few rounds when a few more are fit.

This guy has learnt from playing hurt last year and he wont do it again.

This is Juddy we are talking about - truly professional. Who are we to say. He did not have a full pre-season so it must be harder to run out games. Lets not get hysterical.

ITS JUDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you both need to move on if you can't play nice.
