We do need more of these. If we don't win this week, we're in danger of being 3-8 which will be worse than last year.

Last year we didn't have Judd, Kreuz and Stevo (just in case you didn't realise) .

It's becoming a little embarrassing. We should be looking at at least 4 and possibly 5 wins to half way.

Why Warnock??? another maybe good tall on our list, just what we need.

Why not Mundy??? we need another forward quickly to help Fev dont we?

We also need another midfielder ASAP, bentic, JR and Carrots dont cut it for me.

Warnock is an exciting, mobile ruckman. Good enough to win hitouts but can also get the ball around the ground. Mundy is a HB'er.

What are the odds of us losing Hammer to the Gold Coast?

Ratts was brilliant. Paid attention to the questions, answered honestly and with no spin. It was clear that there is a mutual repsect between him and Robert. Love to be able to sit in and listen to those two talk footy over a beer or two.

Geez I thought he did pretty well. Maybe I'm comparing to Hervey last week which was like talking to a nervous 5 year old. The one thing about Ratts is everything he says sounds genuine and honest. He seems pretty open and casual, i rekon it's great

I know what Josh means, in that Ratts may not have the polish of a more experienced coach, but you're right in that he was honest and open.

At the end of the interview I was pleased he is our coach.

Really? The midfield seems the least of the worries. Ryan Murphy as Cj69 said would be a nice addition with Warnock.

Somebody said to me in here on some wasted post "why dont you want Mundy he has precision disposal".. or something...

I didnt say i dont want Mundy if he didnt fall of the back of the truck and into our arms..........

I said we NEED Warnock for a variety of reasons before looking at anybody else....

The truth is we need players .. but realistically youre not going to get a bunch of them are you....

Unless you get a bunch of duds....

Mundy doesnt have the long penetrating disposal coming out of the backine that we NEED...

We ALREADY HAVE heaps of Mundy types...!!!.. would i have Mundy RATHER than Russelll???

of course!!!

Just caught the replay of OTC and I thought Ratts spoke with a lot of confidence.

The interview was soft but I liked the way he handled himself.

A far sight better than Harvey the other week.

I think that the interview appeared soft because he was open and frank with his answers to the questions that got harvey into trouble the other week.

If Ratts took the tone that Harvey did when Walls was having a go at Fevs behavior regarding the spray on Bower, then Wall would have gone harder at him as he did with Harvs who was only adding fuel to the fire.

It's a bit like Clarksons media conference after the game last weekend. Before anyone got a chance to drill him about williams choke signal, he appologized and made it clear that it was not acceptable - the media had no-where to go after that as he already gave his answer on his terms.

Did anyone say that being a smooth media operator makes you a good coach?

Sounds like it was a posative interview, with good points made.

I like the idea of making a developed ruckman our 1 priority.
We could then free up Kruezer to play forward which would do our structure wonders......
