Definitely must be Harts. Jake does not look the likely type. Looks to me like another Josh Kennedy. Knew of him when he was at the Western U18. Many people did not think much of him. Surprised he was drafted by the blues.

Harts, as long as he can be injury free looks like he can play.

The Western Jets thought so little of Jake that they made him captain as an underage player. :garthp:

Seriously, why can't we have both? I'd love a fully fit forward line that looks like this...

HF. Houlihan, Hartlett, Fisher
F. Betts, Fevola, Edwards/Kreuzer

I hope every cfc player succeeds, but I'd be less suprised to see Cain Ackland win this year's Brownlow than Harts reach 50 games.

Edwards has shown in some Bullants games that he has AFL ability. While he still has serious footskill deficiencies, his speed, agility and hands at ground level are pretty special. I'd like to see him developed as a Rutten sized full back, I think he has the frame and the athleticism to one day go body on body with the big forwards. Time is also certainly on his side.

A real good footballer cut down by injuries....great mark for his inches, hard at the footy, if Jake is as good as R. Dennis then he will great value...

what 'e said

(except the defender bit... happy with him up forward

We need marking targets up forward who are mobile who can lead out of Fevola's way, but still be able to be a target in their own right.

One of Pagan's downfalls was his uncanny knack of sticking lumbering players in front of Fevola. Bad move because it creates multi-player contests where Fevola leads....

We need Fisher, Edwards, Kreuzer, Hampson etc as leading mobile options who create space behind them for Fevola.

Hartlett... just don't see it.

Yesterdays match showed both will be playing Round 1, Hartlett at CHF and Edwards the decoy full forward.

QFT, play both at least until Fish is ready

If Hartlett knew how to lead he would have taken 19 marks and kicked 5 goals yesterday. The guy leads way way to early, by the time the player with the ball has time to kick Adem Hartlett is in row 4. Needs to learn the art of leading then he will see a heap more game time. Best game I have seen him play yesterday but thats not saying a whole lot.

Jake showed a lot more than Hartlett yesterday timed he's leads well and kept out of fev's way. Showed heaps of footy smarts. The most impressive thing I noticed yesterday was the way he controlled the forward line telling team mates when to lead and where, Just he's general voice up there.

I think neither. Kreuzer/Hampson/Fisher should rotate it with Hampson/Kreuzer rotating the ruck as well.

Two of those blokes won't play in the first game which means two blokes need to come in. Kruezer / neither / neither /?
