Judd confirmed - Carlton chases *insert surname*.

That was a nice touch at the top of the renewal letter from Brett Ratten.

Damn I jumped ship from Social to Gold Premium last year and now only Social members are getting the guaranteed GF ticket. How does that work when they cost the same? :?

I downgraded from Gold Social to Social this year. Never used my Reserved seat the past two years. Use the extra money on my daughters first jumper.

I love my reserved seats now so looks like I'm gonna have to upgrade to Social Gold Premium as I want a first allocation GF ticket. I feel like they've pulled a shifty there to get gold and gold premium members to add the social club part on.

OK, a little bit of a dumb question: Which concession cards are valid? It says a full time student card, what does that mean? Just my Uni student card, or the concession card I use on the train :p, or the Youth Allowance?

Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Yeah your Uni Card would be fine, since this shows you're eligible for concession.

I remember reading an article about a week back stating that since we released our membership packs, 2000 have signed up at an average of 100 per day.

It is most certainly > than 2000 now, so it's all rolling along nicely. :-D

Ok, found the article. And it was more than a week back.

http://heraldsun.news.com.au/footy/comm ... 62,00.html

"HE might have come at a big cost, but former West Coast captain Chris Judd is already dragging in the members - and the dollars - for his new club Carlton.

Since Carlton fans were urged on the club's website to become members and support the recruitment of Judd, about 2000 fans have already joined as members at a rate of about 100 per day.

Those new members have injected about $300,000 into the club."

Membership numbers at last count were about 3,500 - with *obviously* a truckload yet to be processed. Found this out talking to a membership guy today - who told me he was a Carlton supporter and he was astounded by the amount of people that are contacting the membership dept. this year. Sounded very keen, and also told me that the next time the membership count is updated - the number will jump significantly.

well just had a call from warwick and have signed up

warwick was offering a deal through telechoice one of our sponsors to sign up with them on a phone plan and get your membership free.

i didnt take the offer - i just paid for my membership.

membership packs will be out just after xmas

he asked me my preferred choice of scarf or hat so they can roughly get the right numbers of each.

Speaking of memberships, I got "Inside Carlton" yesterday, which lists every new Carlton Member in 2006.

My sister will be stoked to see my niece's name there.

It would have been a nice gesture to print a list of EVERY member, not just the new ones who helped the Club get to a record membership.
