No Agro, the main prize is CFC getting a decent coach that can get the best out of whoever we draft. If we had have kept Pagan nothing would have changed

Feel a bit for Dennis but this is best for the club.

Agreed. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He probably did give his best, but moving him on was definitely the correct decision.

For the few highlights, thank you. For the lowlights, it's going to take a flowering long time to forget them, there's just sooooo many!

Assuming Rats is caretaker, if he doesnt get the senior job at the end of the season, is there any chance he would remain as an assistant or would the new guy bring in all new ppl?

Thankyou for your effort Denis. Thankyou for the two pre-season premierships. Thankyou for Marc Murphy, Bryce Gibbs and the O'hAilpins.

Best wishes for the future,
townsy.

As I have said this morning... Braddles is succesful in his private life, whilst Ratts is a Career coach.. Rats wont be coach as they will play kids the rest of the year and going 0-6 and leading us to the P.P wouldn't help his chances of getting a senior job......... Come on down Braddles.....

History will judge this piece of Carlton's history none too kindly. Carlton cheated in the salary cap and got penalised. Elliott appointed Pagan in a last gasp clutch at power. You could argue that the Pagan appointment was the most damaging.

I was one not in favour of Pagan being appointed in the first place. Pagan always seemed like yesterday's man. He never got on well with the players. It was obvious to see. The results are on the board. More than 25% of our loses are greater than 10 goals and nearly every club has kicked record scores against us. Finally Pagan has to accept some responsibility.

For our future's sake I hope that we don't win another game this year. The AFL have given us this incentive to lose and we must take advantage of it. We need the top picks. Honourable loses will be good enough for me. Then we can look upward next year.

Ratts or Braddles - either will do a good job in the role for the rest of the year. Good luck to them.

Bad luck Denis. I remember an interview when he was first hired, talking up the future of the club. It was awesome and fired me up big time. Unfortunately, none of that has happened and this decision had to happen. It's pretty clear that he had lost the players and that the players weren't playing for or responding to whatever he had to say.

Now it's time to hit the trade week HARD. Put everyone on the list up (apart from the obvious - Murph, Gibbs, etc) and see what we can get. Get more early to middle draft picks or mid age players to add some leadership.

This is one of the most important off seasons in the club's history.

Can someone please take notes if they hear any of the press conference on the radio. I can't seem to get the stream of SEN working at the moment.
