never have i seen a performance as dreadful as that
the players are mentally scarred- every game we play (even when we win) there are glaring deficiencies that games like these expose like a bad rash
the players are mentally fragile, virtually powerless when Plan A doesnt work and when the opposition team gets a run on
Its been 5 years and although there are signs of a reversal of fortunes (seen most striking in the past few weeks) there is a cancer like problem in our football club and its in the heads of the players
- there is no doubt that some of them have talent, but because we have a virtually non existent senior core of players, the youngsters cant get the 'easy ride' other clubs teams can which is, in my view, the key to development.
