Best of luck young Adam.

Congratulations on joining an elite group - those who have had the privelege of representing the Navy Blue in the field of combat.

Do us proud.

Now, just so we dont get confused. You are the same Hollywood43 who came up with a thread on Monday telling posters to "keep things in perspective". Are'nt you?

His younger brother Hamish is set to follow him, with the recruiters already talking him up.

He is not eligible for this year's draft, but impressed many on the recent under-16 Australian team trip to South Africa.

Pagan has heard the mail and likes the sound of having two Hartletts running around in the navy blue.

"We'll see if they can bring in the brother rule," he quipped.

Unless you are a freak, the bodies of tall players always take longer to mature.

I see Hartlett as a new draftee. Don't expect too much but getting a game in the seniors is a huge achievement for him and will provide the confidence he needs.

One thing I know about Hartlett is that he is very critical on his own performances. This sort of self evaluation will help him improve.

All the best Harts.

Good luck to him..we need a big bloke with some grunt and I think he has some ability to go with that grunt. His long kicking is something I am looking forward to watching, he impressed me during the NAB cup and his debut has been long overdue.
Maybe he will help take some of the pressure of Josh Kennedy and they can both work together as a bit of team, just hope Pagan gives him a fair run of games to show his wares....

Here comes our RS nomination :-D .

Harts is one of the two defenders we need desperately. If he can compete on the 2nd tall we'll just need to get Benji up and the whole structure of the team will change.

We've had a lot of injuries but this will hopefully turn out to be a fantastic trigger for blooding the players taking us forward. I just hope that a bloke like Harts, alongside Jordy, Blackers, Bower etc establish an understanding of the game at top level this year, and next year: destroy teams.

It's a heartening, (or should that be Hartening...Boom-Tish...Oh, my side, it hurts) sensation imagining our young squad with more muscle and greater mental hardness, standing tall for the Blues over the coming seasons. (Really looking forward to seeing Grigg! play.)

Good luck on Saturday Harts.

I would play Hartlett up forward and look at having a Geelong type setup with multiple tall targets......I thought his NAB cup form showed he was more of a natural forward..

I think Hartlett could become......................dare i say it.................our new 'Aaron Hamill'.

Big tough KP, loves to put his body on the line, good at contested marks & always breaks down through injuries!

Yeah! Great news!

I'd like to see him at CHF leading up to the wings, and then kicking it long and quick in to the F50 for Fev and JK.

I can't see him playing forward this week. I know he can go forward but with Fev, Fisher, Lance we'd be way too top heavy. I wouldn't mind betting he'll play back to allow Lance to go to CHF.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Benji come in as a Betts replacement, although now I think about it, we'd only debut one newy at a time.

Yes i was the one saying ' stay positive ' and i am, but from what i have seen of this bloke, he looks too slow and we dont need slower blokes on our team, we are slow enough as it is.

I hope i am proved wrong! I just want Pagan to give him a decent amount of time on the ground so he can have the chance to show a bit. Not like what he did to Blackwell a few weeks back

Congratulations Adam, all the best for Saturday and hopefully you can do yourself & all Blues fans proud.

My experience with Adam off the field is that he is a terrific guy and represents the club perfectly. I hope that he gets the game time over the coming months to show everyone what he is capable of.

Not whilst we have the IRON CHEF!

Go Harts, rip em a new one.

Harts and Jord Russell are best mates, very sad he wont be lining up with Harts for his first game.
